5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my wife. Great product!! November 4, 2010
By TypeL
Into 3 or 4 days of breatfeeding, she kept telling me it hurt to breatfeed the baby.
Baby sucked too hard, and her nipple was in funny shape when baby took her mouth off.

I didn't realized how serious the hurt was, until 5th day after the birth, wife started crying real hard, wailing. I thought baby has passed.

But no. It was the pain from breaetfeeding. I had to do something. Got this product.
She loves me now. This is a must-have for anyone who breatfeeds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh Lansinoh, how I love you! June 26, 2010
I could not have made it through breastfeeding with out this product! It completely helped with the soreness and was very soothing! Now pregnant with my second child I have actually started using it already to help with the dryness and sensitivity of my nipples. It is a bit thick, but that is what I loke the most about it. It doesn't dry out and is really easy to use. It never bothered my baby and wipes off easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars Multiple uses December 2, 2010

I have never used this on nipples, as I bought it to lanolinize wool diapers, but we use it all the time on chapped lips and hands. It is way better than chapstick, because it is natural and you're not eating petroleum. A little bit goes a very long way! If the bottle is cold, it is extremely difficult to squeeze out. In the winter, I'll set the tube on the heat register for a couple minutes before I try to get anything out of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't nurse without this! December 1, 2009
I honestly don't have ANY idea how women prior to our time ever nursed without this stuff. The pain nursing can cause can be extreme but this stuff SAVES the day! It keeps your personal areas lubricated and moist, so when the baby nurses, you don't feel any pain at all. Honestly, get this before you deliver and use it during your pregnancy. It will be SO much better for you if you do. Highly, highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars The "Breast" Nipple Cream Out There!! October 20, 2008
You'll definitely need it either if you are nursing or pumping milk. The best stuff out there (in my opinion) is Lansinoh.

It brought me GREAT relief for my very sore nipples when I was pumping and a little goes a long way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for a million things! November 5, 2011

You can use this for diaper rash creme, to water proof cloth baby diapers, as chap stick, as a hand balm for cracked hands, to prevent wind burn when skiing,...I mean really it is an excellent water-proofer and skin protectant. I bought three tubes and used it for so many things, I am already out. Also, I am super allergic to a lot of things and I had NO reaction to this. I will never use any other diaper creme except LANSINOH. It is beyond superb. Plus, if your kids like to eat things it's completely natural and non-toxic, so no rushing to the hospital or calling poison control. It's even medical grade! This product is of premium quality and worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Effective and safe for baby August 5, 2011
By Jen
Not having to worry about my son ingesting this 100% natural product put my mind at ease during my first month of nursing, when I hurt so much I had to reapply after every feeding. Worked fast to heal and provide relief. Was thick enough to stay on and do its job. Got this product as a gift - so glad I did!

4.0 out of 5 stars A must have for breastfeeding and pumping moms! December 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
When I started breastfeeding in the hospital I was given the Medela cream to use after and before breastfeeding. They only gave me a small sample tube so once that was finished I started using this Lansinoh cream which I had bought before giving birth. The Medela cream is much softer and easier to apply but when I read the label I realized it wasn't 100% lanolin. All you have to do is rub the Lansinoh cream between your fingers so that it softens up before application. The only thing that I don't like about this cream is that it is hard to squeeze out of the tube when you are in colder weather. It can be REALLY hard to squeeze out sometimes. Also the tube is not a screw cap. I tried pulling off the cap to make it easier to squeeze out the cream but then I couldn't put it back on and I was left with an open tube that I could never keep closed. When you can get the cream out though, it's a great product and very useful especially for the first few months of breastfeeding.
