I use broadhead sharpeners to sharpen my hawks. This one did a bang up job. I'd be careful using it on a knife you don't want to scratch up though.

I was just starting on archery, so i thought i need this. however i have not used it since i got it. i use broadheads with replacable blades so no point to sharpen then. also all broadheads come with a rentch so you dont' need the rench. other than that it is a nice tool to have.

Seems useful at first glance, and the handle/grip is very good. I do find a couple awkward things about the tool. Firstly, the sharpener is already a bit rusty (or something??), and does not appear very sturdy. Do not know if it will stand the test of time, and if the sharpened blades will get micro tears from the sharpener. Then again, maybe broadhead "blades" don't need that much sharpening in the field... Secondly, about the wrench part: it is quite hard to get the arrow head into the wrench due to the multiple slits. Also keeping the head there is difficult. The tool is symmetrical so neither side is shaped to match the broadhead (which would be hard anyway, due to varying angles in different arrowheads). This means that when turning, the arrowhead is gripped from where the wrench edges touch the blades. This may cause wear at that particular point in the blades. Haven't noticed any tear or wear yet, but I've used the tool only once...
