Good intoduction to the topic,
This review is from: Lanthanide and Actinide Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry: A Textbook Series) (Hardcover)
This introductory book gives a good overview if the lanthanide and actinide elements, including electronic structure, the ionic forms of the metals, the sources of the elements (with basic chemical transformations) and a survey of the organometallic reactions of these elements. The material is presented by element, with general sections on lanthanide trends and the transuranic elements, Am, Cm, Bk, etc.
