I installed a single one of these in a 1 cube, aeroported box tuned to 32 Hz in a Cobalt. It is being powered by one channel of an Elemental Designs Nine.2x (rated at 200W x 2). This sub is incredible - cheap, loud, sounds very very decent. I have an SSA DCON 10" in my Subaru, also 1 cube at 32 Hz, and this Lanzar is on a similar level for costing more than $80 less. The sub seems to be quite well-made; although the little sticker on the back of the motor fell off XD Whatever. No one's gonna see it. :) It hits the lows VERY well... The Fs is quite low and this thing shines below 30 Hz in this enclosure. I wasn't expecting much SQ out of this sub, and while it's not a Dayton HO, it has certainly surprised me.

My only question is longevity - we'll see how well it stands the test of time. The people I've talked to have also had good experiences with this sub and I expect it to be a reliable long-term friend :)

If you're on a budget, get this thing and you will NOT be disappointed. At an underrated 200W this thing is pounding the whole car. Give it a good enclosure and you'll be very happy :)

I just installed this amp - Power Acoustik CPT1-2200D to these subs and they completly rock! I had a small Alpine amp on these subs for a couple months and just wasnt enough with the rest of my system. Im sure some high dollar subs would yeild better results but for the price they work great for me....

these say small enclosure subs but with vas(cu ft) of 2.1 thats hardly small in my book they also say sealed enclosure
but these subs work better in a ported enclosure i built my own slot ported box 4.2 cu ft total divided down the middle
using a lanzar mxa414 2000 watt amp bridged these subs are sweet and for 35 dollars a piece whats not to like lanzar for life
