The amp works great!!!

I doubt this amp will even put out anywhere near the supposed 800 watts bridged at 2 ohms, since unbridged at 2 ohms its still a whopping 70 watts rms.

Not for intermediate systems, waste of money.

The amp works great!!! It works for my 12" subs. something that might help if your a beginner like me would be to turn the nobs up when installing your subs so you know the amp is working haha took a couple of hours to figure that out. I heard that amps get hot but i have felt this one after driving and listening to music for a few hours and it always feels cool. So far its been great and it shipped really fast, before amazons estimated arrival date.

One thing to note is in the Manual that comes with it that Amazon did not put on here is More Technical Specs so here they are.

RMS Power @2 Ohms 600 watts x2
THD @2 Ohms 900 watts x2
Maximum Power Output @2 Ohm 6,000 watts x1
Bridged Power @4ohm 8,000 watts x1
Low Level Impendance Input: 10K Ohms
Low Level Sensitivity Input: 200mV-6V Adjustable
S/N Ratio: 95dB

So Note that This Amp says it can do 8,000 watts not just 6,000 and so far it Feels like it can but i dont have a sub that can handle 8,000 watts once i do i will post again hope this helps any body.

This amp is really a true rms 300 watt x 2 @ 4 ohm amp (true 600 watts x 2 @ 4 ohm stereo or 1200 watts rms @ 4 ohms bridged) DO NOT buy it if you think it is a 6000 watt RMS amp as it IS NOT. Lanzar chose unwisly to list it as a 6000 watt PEAK amp... a little decieving. But none the less this is a true 1200 watt amp that demands more than more factory automotive can handle. Plan on running a minimum of true 4 gauge pure copper wire and do the "big 3" upgrade. Also plan on losing some hearing if you have some good subs that can handle this amp. I give it 2 thumbs up!

This amp was just a giant let down for me. I figured with an 800 watt amp I would be future proof if i wanted to get a sub later on down the road. Currently I wanted to just amp my rear speakers, which can take 75 watts rms.

I open up the manual and what do I see. 35w RMS x2 @4ohms. I doubt this amp will even put out anywhere near the supposed 800 watts bridged at 2 ohms, since unbridged at 2 ohms its still a whopping 70 watts rms. That was the first big let down...

THEN despite all of this i decided to hook it up. I figured if i didnt like the results I could just return it and get a better amp.

I didn't have the choice to return it, I HAD to return it. With in THREE minutes of powering on this amp, something failed internally. It started giving constant voltage to the right speaker. It would just pop up and stay there. Switch the outputs and it would happen to the other speaker. Wire it back up to the head unit? Problem gone. So even at the lowest power output, and level at the lowest, this amp could not take more than 3 minutes at normal volume. I wouldn't trust this thing to power anything, at all.

And don't say it was my set-up. I used Lanzars 4 gauge wiring kit (more like 8 gauge, thanks Lanzar) to wire it all up. 4(8) gauge directly to battery terminal, with a fusible link within 4 inches of the battery terminal. All of the wiring routed the same way the factory wiring goes. Everything was good wiring wise. The amp just failed on me, powering two 5x7 speakers. I cant imagine how fast this thing would blow if hooked up to a power hungry sub..

Also, there is no gain on this amp. Only level. So I had no idea how much amperage this amp was sending to my speakers. This is just overall, a terrible amp.

STAY AWAY!

This is an amp that will deliver much satisfaction to those who know what they are doing. When i hear less than positive responses about it, i immediately recognize mistakes that most people are not aware they are making.... This amp has TWO massive 40 amp fuses, which by rule of thumb, tells you that it will give you 800 watts RMS @ full power depending on your speaker config.
I like running two 12" pioneer 4ohm DVC (wired in parallel=2 ohm each). One for each channel. i have 0 ga. wire with a 100 amp fuse approx 8" from the battery, with a lanzar 100 farad power cap (also purchased from here) hooked close to the amp... i am not going to go into what else is in the trunk, suffice it to say i made sure this Lanzar vct 2210 has ample power because the music i play demands much from my system... and i dont just like it powerfully loud setting off car alarms as i pass by... i like my sound crystal clear-no distortion.
If you supply this amp with ample power AND MOUNT IT PROPERLY so that the large heat sink is vertical and on top (because this amp DOES get hot!).... AND your music source is providing THE CORRECT INPUT VOLTAGE...and your subs/speakers are at the correct impedance without going lower than 2 ohm per channel OR 4 ohm bridged....YOU will be posting a good review for this amp also.
For the money, and if you either know what you are doing OR you take the time not only to READ the manual, but also follow what it says... you are going to have a hard time finding a workhorse that'll beat THIS one... if you do.. PLEASE tell ME about it.
