I will update this review but for now here goes. If you buy this amp, be sure you're ready to buy some good azz speakers and plenty of them. So far with the gain at only 50% I've blown 6 6x9s (2 Lanzar 600 watt, 2 Lanzar 680 watt, and a pair of 800 watt peak Boss 6x9) First you smell the crossover caps burning, then the voice coils, then POW! All liars about power handling, but this amp is no joke! Worth every penny if you want cheap cost power thats for sure, sounds good too, but this time I'm wiring multiple speakers per channel, series parallel to 4 Ohms you need I think more than 300 rms speakers to keep safe from blowing, so I'm putting 500 rms watt handling capability. If you are just going to run 1 speaker per channel, this isn't the amp for you. Too big. It does run hot when you push the power but its a whole lotta sound going down. Whoooooo!!! Will update when I get the next speaker package online. Im busy with my 12" Infinity subwoofer on an alpine 500 rms amp, but for that Lanzar Vibe Im putting 2 150 watt rms Kicker 6x9s in series to 8 Ohms, then parallel with a 200 watt rms 8 Ohm Aluminum bullet tweeter which will bring me back to 4 Ohms per channel, even though its a 2 Ohm stable amp, its hot enough on 4 Ohms, don't want to blow the amp so 4 Ohms is cool. I know that combination is not gonna blow. I also got an db meter from amazon for about $30 bucks, I recommend it to protect your hearing so you'll know about what your exposing yourself to, its showed almost 120 dbs before the speakers blew last time.

I recently bought this amp and I was a little skeptical - It boasts a 1500 watt per channel output, or 3000 watt bridged. A friend gave me an MTX Terminator Series (1200 watt, 700 RMS) and I was scared that it would blow the MTX speakers. Far from it! I bridge the MTX Subwoofers, turned on the bass boost and BAM! It hits so hard folks can hear me coming for a block or more away.

I used 8 Guage for now, and plan to upgrade to 4 Guage soon. My car battery is located in the rear of my Audi, so 4 Guage the will suffice for the short run. I ran the amp for 45 minutes on the way to work and upon arrival I checked the amp, it was slightly warm, compared to a Kenwood 1200 watt amp, it was cool to the touch, where as the Kenwood, which has built in fans - was hot. I used 6 small pieces of wood to elevate the amp for circulation.

Allow me to compare - I was using my Kenwood 1200 watt amp and sure I got ok bass sound, but with this Lanzar I now have to tighten down things throughout the car. I'd recommend this amp for anyone, beginners beware - but as long as you have a solid wiring layout, you should be fine.

Make sure that when you mount this thing to get a least half inch spacer behind it so it can breathe and cool, I had to re-do my mount over it getting hot, but that and checking my ground fixed that problem... My edges was kinda sharp so watch that... Overall plenty of power to expand and happy with my purchase...

Honestly ignore al the comments about it getting hot the only reason it would is if your not running a big enough gauge wore which would happen with any amp you need to run the right power set up to it and invest In a capacitor!
