Book Description

May 26, 2009
In the kingdom of Savarin, it's not uncommon to have magical powers. But young Miel really isn't interested in developing her own, despite her family's history as some of the most important magicians in the realm. She's trying to live a more mundane life, much to the frustration of Sara, her older, over-achieving sister. Her life changes one day when she meets a young man on the street who claims to be a stranger in town. Is it only a coincidence that he looks like the reclusive young Prince Radian?

5.0 out of 5 stars Lapis Lazuli Crown, July 6, 2010
This review is from: The Lapis Lazuli Crown Vol. 1 (Paperback)
What you will find: A great two-volume manga series with strong characters and a nice plot-driven story. It has just the right amounts of comedy, romance, drama and fantasy. Some readers may find this series is so good that they'll want to finish reading it all in the same day.
What you won't find: There isn't a whole lot of filler here that you might find truckloads of in other manga series. (This reader had finished a six-volume manga series that was crammed with useless filler just before reading this series, thinking 4/6 of his money was wasted.)
Since the story is set in a "Europeanesque" type of world, readers will not have to worry about brushing up on their Japanese history.
