Laptop AC Adapter for DELL Inspiron

The part that theproseller sent me was NOT the Dell original. This is implied by the photo on the listing.

The unit I got had no markings on it to even indicate the manufacturer.

It seemed to work fine, however it very quickly began to deteriorate. It would simply stop working from time to time. Unplugging at the laptop often helped, but eventually that stopped fixing it. Soon, it started turning off and on rapidly, causing my laptop to flash as it cycled through power modes.

Also note that the unit seemed to run hot. It did not have any markings to indicate that it had been vetted for household safety requirements: No UL rating, no others (my HP power supply has about 6 ratings on it).

Finally, it stopped working altogether. I'm pretty sure that my battery has been ruined by this as well due to the cycling.

This is a cheap, generic knockoff of the Dell item. The picture shows Dell but the one I received wasn't. I compared this one and the Dell original and it is different in size at the connection. It works but it doesn't fit snugly. As far as the seller, I ordered this on a Thursday, paid for Expedited Shipping, and it finally arrived via regular mail 5 days after I ordered it (b/c of the weekend and a holiday). I was hoping it would arrive via FedEx or UPS since I paid for Expedited and wanted it delivered either on a Saturday or the President's Day holiday. Lastly, I wish there was a status on my order and a tracking number.

I bought this when my old cord shorted out. From seller "alexbelpc4u", the product I got was the actual Dell charger, it fits my laptop (Latitude C610) perfectly, is in excellent condition, and it shipped almost immediately after I bought it. Definitely a good buy, especially considering that Best Buy wouldn't sell me one for less than $86.

It fit perfectly, and it got here fast. I use it all the time, and though at first I was skeptical of the off brand, I have had no problems with it.

It was easy to find what I needed. They had the right price and they sent it very quickly.

I was having problems with intermittent power with my old AC Adaptor. This was a great price for a replacement and I have no problems with it at all.

the power adapter came with a 3-wire connector that didn't match the normal laptop input jack. I had to buy a separate plug and solder it to the cord after cutting off that 3-wire connector.

I found,..... finally,.. a power supply that was below $90, I saved over $75 with shipping included. I was very pleased with the super reasonable shipping. It came promptly and well packaged and worked perfectly. I'm definately a happy camper. Thanks Amazon, for having such good suppliers with more than fair prices.

The power supply I purchased to replace a factory Dell unit, is actually better than the original.
