If you are looking for a laptop computer AC adapter this one does the job. All I can say about this product is it is useful and efficient. Let's face it, we are living in the computer age. One can almost not live without a computer. If you are in need of an AC adapter pick one of these up. I am so satisfied with the one I purchased from Amazon.com I am strongly considering picking up another one so I will have a spare one. This adapter gave me exactly what I needed: a tool to charge my laptop computer battery.

Ok.. so I was having one of those moments when no matter how you moved the cord.. it wouldn't charge my computer. Now my ole laptop saved me for amost (3)years. Promises from people to get me anutha computer never proved true. Broken promises SUCK. So the night I needed my ole relible friend to let me checkout some information.. flat lined.
Immediately commercial after commerical came on about who else GEEKS and Best Buy. Next day I called. I was assured they had what I needed to solve my problem. It was a Universal cord. I took the train to nearest Best Buy. Long story short, anutha broken promise. The cord I needed wasn't in the package and the other styles were just too high in cost. Flatline. OH SNAP. When I asked the Geeks in the store.. what would they do? They couldn't give me a reasonable suggestion. I took my old cord home along with a sinking feeling of hopelessness. Anyway I got a hold of a computer and went on to Amazon. My Head said "Yo.. Look it up on Amazon see what happens.Everything else is offered at Amazon used, new etc." So I did! And guess what? You darn skippy I found the exact cord I needed. Thanks to both Amazon and the company who provided this item.. I was SAVED. Hallelujah! From now on... Check AMAZON FIRST .. do it your self. <3

The merchant was very easy to deal with. Got the product right away. Product worked well and everything is good. I recommend. :)

Our experience with these has been that they struggle to put out the current (amps) that they are rated to. This is super important that they easily generate the current demanded by the device. They get very hot when trying to put out 4 plus amps to run the full 90 watts that they are rated. We are going to pay more for a better unit from now on.

I bought this adapter as a replacement for my 7 year old Inspiron 8200's adapter which recently died.


It feels very light compared to the adapter that came with the the laptop and it gets hot similar to the original adapter. The part that connects to the laptop itself is a tighter fit than the brand name adapter, but it fits well enough.

I read other reviews saying that this model dies out quickly, but i'll have to see how long it lasts for myself. If it dies early then I will replace it with the Dell brand adapter for $40-60 (because that lasted for 7 years and had a longer cord).

Overall you can tell it is slightly less quality, but i've had it for 20 minutes and it is doing the job perfectly so far. This adapter was $2 and it shipped in under a week from my date of order. You can't beat this offer if your adapter dies and you need a quick replacement. So i give it a 5 star because it does what they said it would do. Just keep in mind that it is not as quality as the $40 replacement that you would buy from Dell.

I was shocked to see such a low price on this but I took the chance and won! It works flawlessly and I have had no problems.

I was happy to find a charger for my laptop at such a low price. If I would have gone to Best Buy or any other store it would have been about 15 times or more what I paid here. Shipping was great, it arrived right away and it works without any problem, it's a perfect match. Definitely recommend it! (:

My son in law was going to trash his Marine Corps days laptop thinking that a new cord adapter unit would be more than the laptop was worth. This was so inexpensive, shipped fast, fit right, and now they have a couple more years of use from their old computer!

I can't remember when I received an item as fast as I did as from this vendor. The item was as stated - new and originally packed. I would use this vendor again for the above reasons and because his prices are right.

Needed this for an older Dell Laptop and it just simply works! Of course it may not be exactly OEM but works as it was! Was shipped fast and arrived in a decent enough package.
