I have a dell XPS M-140 and its battery only lasts about a year as well as its charger that dell sells for about $70.00, in return for paying so much for there charger the cord and wires inside eventually break out and it stops charging.I got tired of wasting my money on dell and decided to give this a shot, Well it is worth it to but from this seller, it was only about $16.00 plus shipping and this is very cheap compared to dell. i would recommend buying this instead of dell's, although keep in mind all chargeres get hot while plugged in for long periods of time, thats the only downfall.....

Well, what I thought I purchased was not the adapter that they sent me. It was not compatible with my Dell XPS M1210. I checked the adapter's box and even on the outside it was clearly labeled that it was an adapter for a DIFFERENT laptop. You would have thought whoever fulfilled the order would have double checked before they sent it.

Oh, and to complicate matters, when I posted my experience in the Seller Feedback section, they had the balls to erase what I wrote! I read some other bad reviews, but I went ahead with the purchase anyway because the seller feedback was impeccable. Now I understood why there were more bad reviews posted here, but the seller feeback is skewed because they erase bad reviews. Very shady. Beware.

I received the adapter quickly; however, it does not work for the Dell XPS 1210 as advertised. The end that is supposed to plug into the computer is not circular, but is instead octagonal in shape and does not fit into the computer.
Basically, the adapter is useless.

This charger works perfectly with my DELL XPS M1330 Laptop! My old charger burned out a couple months ago, and I was bummed at the idea of having to shelve out $50+ for a new one from Dell. However, before I did, I opted to try out this charger. I'm so glad I did because I saved my self alot of cash.

I bought this AC Adapter for my Dell XPS M140 after my other Adapter just stopped working took it to Best Buy and they wanted $100+ for a new one so I decided to search the internet and found this one and decided for that price to try it and even if it only lasted a year it would be worth it. I have had it now for over a month and it works just as good as the original one that came from Dell. I am very satisfied!!!! I would definitely recommend this AC Adapter!!!

I never usually write reviews, but I had to this time because this charger was terrible, almost immediately after buying it it would keep my laptop alive but wouldnt charge it.
After a while it would get really jot, almost smell like burning plastic.
Now if i plug it into an outlet, the outlet trips itself of and I have to unplug everything and reset the outlet.
Terrible purchase, I am going to buy an original Dell Charger.

Works perfectly, looks identical to my dell original charger except it doesnt say "DELL" in the circle on the top. Alot better than the universal chargers you get at bestbuy for 10x's the price.

I bought this adapter for my M1210 laptop. Worked great for a few months. Then it just stops charging all of a sudden. Tried my old cord and computer charges fine. This one the LED does not even turn on and it makes a clicking sound. Since I had 4 months less and the ad on this item says they cover for 12 months, I decided to contact the seller to have it exchanged for a new one. Seller never contacted me back and I still have this crappy non working cord. If you want 1/3 of the months for your laptop to work, this will probably be for you, but I will look elsewhere where they don't have false advertisement on the warranty.

This Charger Didn't work with my old XPS M140 didn't charge the battery, I had to remove the battery in order to use this charger (new battery i bought from Amazon) otherwise the computer would not turn on

I have owned this adapter for about 3 months now, and it has worked great for my Dell XPS M140 laptop. The delivery was prompt and the price is amazingly low but appropriate--after all, lets face it...this is a power cord and probably only costs two to three bucks to manufacture (of course, Dell marks the price up to over $50 and makes killer profits off of it--what a joke; you are sucker if you pay that much). One word of caution: make sure not to leave the adapter plugged in too long (i.e. for days at a time) because it can over heat and die. I had a similar generic adapter before this one that shorted out and died after overheating. It lasted me over a year and so I thought it was still a great deal (please note that my original "Dell" adapter died after about two years). Hopefully, this adapter will last for a while. I have been very pleased so far. Thank you China. Thanks for nothing Dell.
