Got this as a replacement for the original (3+ year old) original brick for my T60p (20V large-grey-plug.) I've used it full-time (including leaving the laptop plugged in while hibernating at night) for 6 weeks, and haven't had any trouble with it - it doesn't even run particularly warm, even if I've run down the 9-cell.

That said, the picture is misleading (which I've filed separately) - the Lenovo/IBM markings are shown; the one actually shipped has much less text on it, and "DekCell" instead of IBM or Lenovo on the front. Also, as pictured (but unlike the original) it has a three-wire cable - safer, but it meant digging up a new 6" power cord instead of reusing the one from the original (two-wire) brick.

In other words, it's inexpensive because it's an off-brand replacement, not because it's leftover inventory - which is fine with me, but it should have been marked as such going in.

Looks like the original LENOVO adapter, but actually after you use for several days, you will find that your laptop screen starts flashing. Clearly something wrong with this product. It is a faked adapter which could ruin your laptop.

This product stopped working after less than two months. I was using it as a backup power source at home, so I only used it for perhaps 80-100 hours. Unfortunately, it had a 30 day guarantee. It was NOT a Lenovo product.

This is a total POS. Two days after using this my battery suffered irrepairable damage! Now 90 bucks later on a new battery I am wishing I would have spent the money and gotten the OEM adapter. Don't buy these cheap chinese knockoffs.

I don't know who is making this adapter, I just came over this looking for a new adapter for my v100. It's strange that although my v100 lists its maximum output wattage as 65, the official Lenovo site tells me I should buy a 90W adapter. Although the other sane review on this item said the negative reviews were from people making a mistake, I think this is the correct adapter to buy. I'm guessing Lenovo made a mistake initially, and the shipped AC adapter is too low a wattage, which is why my laptop always overheats with it, and why my batteries have only 20 minutes of life after a year of use. In any event, this adapter is CE certified. The reviews saying his laptop adapter melted, or caught fire or something were total BS. These negative reviews are all similar - ridiculous hyperbole bordering libel, most appeared around the same time, and have reviewers with names like Professor Plum or something. These reviewers have no other reviews, or reviews made around the same time of random products all getting glowing reviews in broken English. Exercise some discretion when reading reviews.

As soon as I plugged in this power supply, connected to my docking station without a computer in it, the power cord started to melt and filled my office with thick smoke. I'm lucky my house didn't burn down. I'm amazed the TheBatteryCenter hasn't gone out of business due to lawsuits!

We ordered this to replace a broken ac cord, it arrived quickly and has worked as promised. I would order from this company anytime.

Mine lasted 1 year. Eventually I had the same problem as my original lenovo adapter...The cord bends where it plugs into the computer and eventually the plastic spreads/breaks and the wires come out because of the bending. My original lenovo lasted about 3 years before this happened. I ordered it using prime, as I was on vacation and need one fast, I am surprised it lasted this long because of some of the other reviews.

the charger pack worked for a short time, however the end that plugs into the laptop had a wire seperate from the plug, i had to replace the pack already and i didn't appreciate having to spend the money yet again for it, but i guess you get what you paid for!

I've read a few favorable reviews, so I took a chance and ordered one for my Thinkpad T60. It came with a wrong connector, so I can't use it. The rated power output is 18.5V and 77.5W instead of the required 20V and 90W. I've requested full refund. I would not buy anything from this seller, Sunvalleytek(Since they sold it through Amazon) I am sure Amazon will stand behind its name).
