I ordered this battery, thinking it was the correct battery I needed because the owner said it was compatible with my Dell laptop. When I received the battery, it was too big and I was upset because I needed my laptop. I returned the battery but didn't get my full refund, which was fine. The next time, I made a better choice because the correct battery was sent. Oh yeah, I had to contact Amazon in order to get the return information I needed. For some reason or another, the owner wasn't helpful, until Amazon contacted them. I wouldn't advise you to purchase an item from them but it's totally up to you.

Avoid this vendor. Here's why:

To be fair, customer service was good--if you don't count selling shoddy merchandise. First, I received a battery that was the wrong size. Possibly my fault. So I exchanged it, without problem (though, of course, I had to pay return shipping). The replacement battery fit fine but, after the first day, it would not hold a recharge. It was hopelessly dead. Judging by the seller's Web site, this was not an unusual problem. I followed the instructions and sent it back for another replacement--again paying return shipping costs myself. But the third battery also did not hold a recharge, after the first two or three days! I began wondering if something was wrong with my laptop. This time I sent the bad battery back for a full refund. Which I got--as I said, customer service was responsible and honest, though I did not get back my $30 in return-shipping fees. But wait! This story has a happy ending.

Following a friend's advice, I then went to eBay and found another seller, who offered a brand-new battery with a one-year guarantee for about $10 less than Amazon's vendor, including shipping! It came quickly and, best of all, it works perfectly.

So my computer was not the problem! Amazon really should remove the seller MP3technology because it clearly sells defective merchandise!
