Laptop Battery for Dell Inspiron 1525, 1526 (9-Cell, 7200mAh)

I have a DELL Inspiron 1525 and the original battery drop dead at exactly one year. Original battery did not keep laptop running for more than 1 hour when was working, but suddenly failed and did not keep power at all. If I unplugged the laptop adapter the laptop shut down inmediatelly. I bought this battery 9 cell one year ago and still keeps running laptop at least 3 hours. I recommend this battery because the laptop does not recognize that is a non original replacement. I have heard that some batteries of other vendors are recognized by the DELL laptop as non originals and the software does not permit to charge them. My DELL is 2 years old and this replacement battery works good.

The battery didn't work, I returned it to the seller for full refund and he did not refund the money.....

The specs say it replaces a Dell M911G (and M911G is printed on the battery). It will slide into the computer, but does not fit properly, so the locks do not shut. As soon as I stand up the battery falls out and the computer shuts off.

This battery had noticable longevity when I first purchased it. Unfortunately less than a year it started to have shorter and shorter life until it could barely hold a charge. I haven't looked into the warranty, it may be covered but I was disappointed in the fact that I had to go back to the factory Dell battery which still works fine even after being stuck in a drawer for about a year.

First one was defective. I paid for return shipping. Second one works fine, it's comparable with a 6 cell original Dell battery.

I want to make this clear, I in no way am saying that the seller of this product is bad, or the battery itself. I am trying to warn anyone to NOT buy a battery for the Dell Inspiron 1525!!! There is a VERY high chance that something within the laptop for the battery to charge is broken. If you do a google search you will find that there are many people with the battery problem for this particular laptop. Buying a new battery will do nothing, it still won't charge. Again, the seller was fine, the battery was not faulty, but do not buy replacement batteries for this laptop, because of the VERY popular problem with it. Please heed this warning! I lost $30 for nothing.

Nice battery. The light blinks orange and blue but it doesn't hurt the performance. I get 4 hrs on it no problem!

Very Good battery at a great price (ie $50), gets me about 5+ full hours, only sticks out about 8/10ths of an inch from back of computer, doesn't seem to add much additional weight, wish I'd bought this 9 cell battery a long time ago. Time with original Dell 6 cell battery (56wH) was only about 3 to 3 1/2 hours, and over the 18 months I've had the original Dell battery it seems like it eventually went to where I was only getting about 2 1/2 hours out of it.

It is has been 4 months since I ordered this $30 Dell rechargable battery Sold by: TechOrbits, Inc., and here I am again with a dead battery having to buy another.....
