Do not buy. This is a no name adapter, despite the misleading advertising picture. I've bought a genuine dell adapter exactly the same for the same price. Is missing the built in rubber cable organizer. Sleazy adapter sticker, and "Made in china" instead of "Made in China". The adapter comes with a holographic, misleading "genuine" type of sticker.

This item is OK. You have to wiggle the cord around for your computer to recognize its hooked up to the battery. The cord will lose its place easily, so you will have to make sure its in a good position. For around $20, its a lot cheaper than the DELL adapters, but the quality is a bit lower too.

I was very upset when I received this item. I plugged it in and "surprise" it did not work. I tried multiple outlets it still did not work. Not to mention it arrived late. DISATIFIED CUSTOMER. I will return it for A TOTAL REFUND.
