1.0 out of 5 stars Quality not worth the price, December 6, 2008

I feel this product is overly priced at $42. The box itself is made of low quality plastic, I'm sure it will not last very long. It is hard to close the box and extremely hard to open, especially for a child. I don't know why they didn't include lids for all of the compartments, it is odd that only one compartment has a lid. I do not recommend this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for lunches for toddlers, August 30, 2008

Works great for sending lunch to day care for my toddler. Room for different foods. Easy to wash. Just wish one more of the containers had a lid (a large container and a tiny dip container have lids)

1.0 out of 5 stars over priced and stupid, January 31, 2010
This review is from: Laptop Lunch System Bento Box - Primary (Office Product)
The website for laptop lunches only offers positive testimonials; since I think the thing is stupid I had to enter my review here! The kids in my son's school, including my son, who have this lunch box, have to walk carefully into school holding the thing parallel to the ground because of the stupid design of having lids for only one compartment. Not only does that limit what you can put in (only one wettish thing) anything with crumbs or small loose pieces (nuts, dried fruit, lettuce, etc etc) spill around if the thing is tipped. It is a joke to see these 10 yr old boys walking carefully into school, with their moms having to carry their other school stuff because their hands are being used to steady their lunch box!! I used to pack him warm and cold things: guess what, nothing stays warm or cold in this. So, its one or the other, and whatever it is will cool or warm toward room temp. I never used 'waste' anyway, there are lots of options for 'waste free' lunches that are more usable and flexible. It is outrageously priced at close to 50 dollars: my son had to use his allowance because I refused to spend that sort of money on a lunch box. I should have just told him he couldn't have it as his lunches have become less nutritious due to the limited space, lack of covers, lack of ability to separate warm and cool items. I hate the thing and am outraged by the absurd marketing of it as healthy and green.
