The first Battery I received developed a problem with one of the cells after 30 days. I emailed Westronics customers support and was taken care of by a nice support person. She gave me a few ideas to trouble shoot. In the end she agreed that the battery was defective and said that they would send a replacement, but I had to send them the failed unit first. I waited nearly 8 weeks after I sent the battery back before I gave in and contacted them again for the status of my replacement battery. The nice support gal replied, stating that she would check on the status of the order. A few days afterward she stated that the replacement was on its way. It took another week to finally receive the second unit. Guess what??? It was NOT the same capacity battery that I had originally purchased [2200mAH vs 4400mHA]. AND, this battery unit is failing too!!

I was way TOO patient with these these people.

$50.00 for TWO failed batteries that work worse then the 4 year old battery I already have. Westronics is LAME!! Spread the word!!

This was DOA for the most part. It worked for about a week and now is completely dead.

This battery has brought new life to an old, underpowered, but reliable Dell laptop. Prompt delivery and reasonable price.

Though i got the item in time, i do not think my battery holds any charge at all. without being connected to a power supply, the computer does not even powered on! i think i bought it!!!

I brought this product to replace the original battery that was completely dead. I believe that the ac adaptor that Dell makes is the source of the problem. The battery that I am using now will only charge up 16%. I had to buy two more in case I needed them as backup. This is very unacceptable and Dell needs to improve their product and need to think of the future and if they want repeating customers as well new customers. They need to improve their quality. I know I am using the right batteries and ac adaptors because they are recommended for Dell Latitude D600. I also purchased a charger that independently charge the batteries and the two spare batteries charge to 100%, but this battery will not charge all the way. I afraid to have the ac adaptor to charge these two batteries because they probably go brain dead as well. These batteries aren't cheap. I have two Game Boy Advances' and their batteries are still working since 2004. Why are Dell batteries not staying charge up and performing like any other battery? I am very disappointed. Dell needs to investigate and correct this oversight before it gets worse and start losing more customers.

I bought it for my daughter and she said it works great. I couldn't find a better deal online and was able to ship it directly to her which was a bonus.

This battery didn't work in my laptop, even though the Inspiron 600m is one of the listed computers for this battery. I guess I just got a defective one. The good news is, Amazon's return procedure is very easy to do and hassle-free.

So far so good. It holds a pretty decent charge giving me 2 to 3 hours of battery life depending on what I'm doing. It does not fit as flush as the dell branded battery I had before did, but for a third of the price it is doing great. Here's hoping it lasts for a couple years.

The battery works great and holds a charge as good or better than the original. It came in the original Dell battery shell, but likely contains aftermarket battery cells. The fuel gauge feature from the original battery shell was either disabled or not compatible with the aftermarket cells. I never used this feature anyway, so I would highly recommend this battery replacement for anyone looking to get a little more life out of their old laptop.
