I, pleading ignorance, had never heard of Lara Fabian before seeing her do "Je Taime" in front of a live audience in a youtube posting (frankly, I was looking for an instrumental piece that was done back in the 1970s). To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I have never seen any audience be so involved AND be with an artist as the audience was at that performance. I am not ashamed I was moved to tears. It had to be an emotional experience for Ms. Fabian, the audience, and anyone who has seen that "happening", and make no mistake, it WAS a happening. Off that one posting I purchased the complete concert on dvd. My daughter, who loves rock, saw it with me and said it is the greatest concert she had ever seen and heard. I am an American and will tell anyone that Lara Fabian is a fantastic entertainer and would promote this dvd as a wonderful addition to theirLive 2002 collection. She sings only one song (Toto"s "Rains in Africa") in English, and that is only briefly. With this lady, a specific language is not required. I am older than dirt and know of what I am about to say. She IS one of the top 5 singers I have ever heard. For a great experience I recommend purchasing the dvd. I know ***** is the highest rating; I give it **********.

I AM A LARA FABIAN DEVOTEE SO AFTER BUYING THIS CONCERT ON DVD I CERTAINLY HAD TO HAVE IT ON CD AS WELL. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS ANOTHER LIVE RECORDING TITLED "LIVE" BY POLYGRAM THAT CAME OUT IN 1999 WHICH IS ALSO GREAT. THIS PARTICULAR CD IS TO THE 2003 CONCERT & IT'S ISSUED BY UNIVERSAL(2003). THEY'RE BOTH AWESOME BUT THIS ONE INCLUDES SONGS FROM HER MOST RECENT RECORDINGS "NUE" & "EN TOUTE INTIMITE". AS ALWAYS, LARA DELIVERS. SHE'S MY BABY!

I would pay double the price just for her performance of "Tango"!
Sensational number, the greatest voice of our time, and "drop dead"
beautiful to look at. Lara and this DVD are must haves.

First came across Lara Fabian on youtube singing "Caruso". Had heard other great versions of this wonderful song but now believe that Lara's is the definitive one. It was clear from the video that the symbiosis of singer and audience is very special. I decided to buy "Lara Fabian Live 2002" as a consequence. ( As an aside, who says youtube and such like are damaging artists. Could there be a better way to promote artists? )
Anyway the DVD arrived from Amazon and is now a treasured possession. Please purchase this DVD if you wish to experience the oneness of singer and audience. A real treat!

This lady is amazing. However, if you get PAL format, you can't watch it on most dvd players, only a really cheap one. Make sure you get NTSC format for USA customers. Too bad seller doesn't let you know this.

I'm sure the content of the dvd is great, however I didn't get to enjoy it because it didn't work on all three of my dvd players. I can't give it more than 2 stars for now.

The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the audience. Even though it was amazing to watch the audience sing "Je T'aime" and parts of other songs, I bought this DVD to watch Lara, not the audience :)

When Lara sings, she is the song. There's no other way describe her performance. If you are a fan of Lara you won't be disappointed with this DVD. The singing audience will only be a minor distraction.

Trust me she's as good, sometimes better, live as on the album. An amazing woman. Can speak, write, sing in 4 languages. And sing in all of them equally well. Don't make the same mistake I made. Back 10 years ago when her first English CD came out and "I Will Love Again" was released as the 1st single and became a huge dance song, I though it was Celine Dion because I never heard them say like "I Will Love Again by Lara Fabian" They stopped doing that and as fans we liked to hear that. Many have compared her to Celion, even called her a Celion "Want To Be". Don't even go their. She is as unique as they come. Yes, she does sound like Celion Dion in a deeper, richer voice. And although they both competed in the same European talent show in 1988 and Celion won and Lara placed 4th, Lara has more power behind her voice. Both are equally gifted song birds and they sound just like Angels. Buy this CD and buy her CD "Lara Fabian". I am American and I only speak English, so I don't listen to song in any other language. That is until a few months ago when I re-discovered Lara Fabian. Her voice is so beautiful that even though she is singing in French, and I have no ideal what she is saying I still listen to her. She's that good. Trust me on this. She's awesome 15 out of 10.

This is my third DVD of Laura Fabian. I am very happy with my purchase

Purchased this DVD, does not work on any of my DVD players. It will work on my computer but that is it. So much for enjoying it with my sound system.
