My daughters and I read all four books of the Lara series and my girls couldn't wait to learn what happened next. My daughters are 8 and 11 and we would read 2-3 chapters before going to bed each night and it sure made bedtime a pleasant experience. We have read several other books by the same author and have not been disappointed. The toughest part of this series was pronouncing the Irish words, but we worked through it. You will not be disappointed with these books.
