This shell is more beautiful and larger than displayed in the picture. I am using it to burn sage, but it serves as a lovely table decoration as well. It also has a few holes at the top which allow for the burned sage smoke to escape. The colors are iridescent, the design and appearance very attractive. I'm very happy with this purchase. It is both functional and attractive. I can recommend this purchase to those who wish to use it as a sage/smudge pot...or just for a beautiful addition as a table decoration.
