This book presents the current status of Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) and is invaluable for anyone working on the field.
The author presents all relevant subgrid scale models, the theoretical basis of the method, lessons from practical cases, etc It is no accident that this is the 3rd revision in 4 years, collecting forewords from leading theoreticians along the way: Germano, Lesieur and Meneveau.
