My 18mo old recieved this toy for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. However, Elmo's eyes are big and made of a hard plastic. I would not say the eyes are dangerous but, they have caused a few tears during rough play.

My daughter loves elmo, so I thought this would be perfect for her. However, the head is extremely floppy and the eyes bonk her on the head all the time. I've also been hit on the head with the eyes and it hurts!! They shouldn't be made out of such hard plastic!!

Could anything be cuter than a child in awe of her favorite character? We look on in wonder as our 21 month old watches Elmo on tv with a smile across her face. We brought her to meet the Sesame Street gang at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania, and she literally hugged Elmo for almost 5 minutes. When we bought this huge stuffed toy for her as a surprise, she couldn't stop squeezing and hugging him. Just PERFECT for a toddler who loves this fuzzy red little guy.

The toy has withstood the contant hugging, pulling and mouthing of our two children for almost one year now and it's needed nothing more than a surface cleaning with a damp cloth. Eyes are a bit heavy and clunky, so if your child accidentally knocks their head against Elmo's face, they will feel the bump...kind of a little too hard, maybe they could have made the eyes stuffed plush instead of hard plastic. Other than that, this toy is wonderful, not educational, just so darned cute and cuddly. No batteries required, no parts to lose, just simple, huggable fun.

My daughter is 2 years old and loves elmo. He is as big as her.
She wants to take him everywhere we go. Do I have to put him in a car seat?

My son liked the Elmo okay, but the eyes can be dangerous. He accidentally hit my mom in the face with them, knocking her glasses into her eye. It caused brusing and swelling. He has also hit himself with the heavy eyes a few times, and quickly gave up trying to play with it.

I purchased this product for my grandson's 2nd birthday. HE WAS SO HAPPY WITH IT ,HE SITS IN A CHAIR AND THEY WATCH TV .He SHARES HIS FOOD WITH ELMO ,at BEDTIME HE SLEEPS WITH THIS FRIEND,this WAS ONE OF THE TIMES WHEN YOU KNOW THE MONEY WAS WELL SPENT.

I really never write reviews, but I have to about this plush toy. My Niece is 1 year old Elmo/Zoe loving girl who has had many different stuffed toys, but never had or seen a Toy that was her size before. When I first gave it to her, she looked at it a little funny wondering what is this big thing and then she noticed that it was Elmo; she broke out into a big smile. When I sat it in her favorite chair she walked over to it, Hugged it, and proceeded to pull it on to the ground "While still hugging it". When it was on the ground, she put her head on its tummy "Still hugging it" and proceeded to fall asleep.

What more appreciation or happiness about a new toy could a child show you. I say this gift is well worth the money and after what my niece did, it has become priceless in my eyes.

My daughter loves Elmo and I thought this would be perfect. Elmos eyes are so heavy that he cant sit up straight without flopping over. My 2 year old cant get him to sit up straight without my help and it gets old fast. Something to consider

The Seller was fantastic. The doll was at our house much faster than we expected. The doll is adorable and my 4 year old will surely love it! Definetly recommend using this seller.

Nice stuffed animal for my 2y/o daughter nothing fancy its just there for her to point at and say "elmo".
