The title is "Large Air Force One 2 Hand Radio Control Plane", but I'm not sure what is considered "large" about it, since the plane is only about 12 inches long and as far as radio control toys go it's rather on the petite side. I gave it 4 stars because it's good looking and sturdy, bordering on basic, but interesting nonetheless. I've never seen another radio control Air Force One before, so I have to give props for the original idea.

My 3yo son who loves everything to do with airplanes, the space shuttle, pilots, and astronauts received this for Christmas. He is younger than the recommended age but he has thoroughly enjoyed playing with this rc airplane for now. Because he is younger he does have a harder time than older children will in maneuvering the aircraft. The actual movement of the plane (one lever to move forward and one to turn) isn't difficult but the control (to not hit walls, chairs, etc.) is a little difficult for a 3yo. So, even taking into account that my son will have some difficulty in the control of the toy there are still a few downsides to this toy: it is small (for a plane that is described as "large") at just over 6 inches from nose to tail (the 11.6" dimension refers to the overall height of the toy including the antenna); it can only move forward (no backwards movement, altho' this is true to actual airplanes since they don't move backwards but it does diminish the "fun" aspect of the toy); it cannot turn while moving forward - when both levers are used the airplane just turns around in a circle. Altho' this isn't much of a problem for my young son, I do think these issues would be a bigger disappointment for an older child. As well, my son does ask when the plane is going to take off - it doesn't. He just picks it up at the end of the "runway" and makes it fly on his own. Again, not a big deal for him but it might disappoint older children who expect that this will take-off. It rolls well on both tile (no slipping or skidding) and on our low-pile carpeting...a plus!

I bought the "large" one. It fits in my hand...product dimensions listed on the site include the packaging. The "2 Hand Control" is a separate forward and a backward joystick. Still a fun toy but not a $15 or $20 level RC toy...maybe a $10 value.

Gave it to my sister's grandson and he won't let it out of his sight. I'm sure this will change but he absolutely loves it and has yet to be able to do damage to it which is a plus as he is ALL BOY. A good, durable toy that has made him more aware of his surroundings as he always points out the planes when he see one now. Definitely a good choice.

I gave this toy to my two year old , he loved it. The details of plane were really good and material is sturdy. It is very handy for small kids. The toy it self is not very big ,but the antena very long . They should have built a small nob like Antena insted of long steel wire. My little one pulled it out in two minutes.

I got this as a Christmas present for my 5 year old who is obsessed with planes. He absolutely loves this item, it is a bunch of fun and keeps him entertained. So far it appears to be sturdy. The illuminating light in the cockpit is also awesome! Note, the "2 Hand Radio Control" being referred to is actually one control with two buttons.

There were two Air Force One hand radio control planes available on Amazon. Large and Medium. We went with the one that said Large. Turns out it is the exact same size as the one listed as medium, but costs $4 more. This is my only complaint.
