This is the biggest bowl I found at the best price. Works great for my sushi rice! Love it.

The thing I was most intimidated about, before I purchased this rice cooler, was the size. It's large and I was worried about storing it in my limited cabinet space, turns out you don't need to store it in your cabinet space if you use it as a decoration by placing some items in it. As far as using it goes, it's very efficient, mine is watertight, it's a bit of a pain to clean it, but I think that goes for any kind of wood when you throw rice on it. Very satisfied customer

The tub was purchased for the size and reasonableness of the price. It is large to fan and turn over 7-9 cups of cooked sushi rice. When filling this tub with water in order to allow it to soak while the rice is cooking, water drips from the bottom of the tub, so make sure it is near or in the sink or you'll have water rolling off the counter and onto the floor. I don't know if that is typical for such tubs as this is the first I've owned, but it doesn't affect the performance of it since you empty the water before you turn out the rice into it. A good value for the price.

Item is nice. Exactly what I ordered. For the price, a paddle would have been nice.
