5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone who owns a large macaw should have this book., March 1, 1998
This review is from: The Large Macaws: Their Care, Breeding, and Conservation (Hardcover)
"The Large Macaws" is a behavioral and management, nutritional, and health-care guide -- as well as a history and an encyclopedia of well-and little-known facts about the biggest of all parrots (with occasional references to the mini-macaws). The book is lavishly illustrated; replete with tables and charts; and fully documented. The authors are among the world's leading experts on hyacinth and other large macaws. Highly recommended.

This review is from: The Large Macaws: Their Care, Breeding, and Conservation (Hardcover)
...after reading and seeing all the information that is given, it was well worth it. This book has 100 times more information than any of the other books on macaws. It was definately worth the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars An outstanding book in every respect., May 19, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Large Macaws: Their Care, Breeding, and Conservation (Hardcover)
This is an outstanding book in every respect -- concept, execution, design, production. It is filled with practical, scientific, anecdotal, and photographic information, and will be of use to any breeder, hobbyist, or ornithologist. It is well worth its price, and one could only wish that all books were equally well-written and well-made.
