I bought this bed for my Golden Retriever puppy, since he had chewed up the zipper on his last (much cheaper) bed. He loves it! We also have a 10 year old Golden who has never been interested in a dog bed. She has practically taken this one over! The puppy just stares at her lying on HIS bed, so I'm going to purchase another one. It must be really comfortable for her to want to sleep on one after 10 years of trying different ones.

The bed is not made of high quality memory foam. However, my biggest complaint was that the bed was folded into thirds and stuffed into a small box to be shipped which left permanent creases in the foam and the bed wouldn't lie flat on the floor. Item was returned, not worth the price.

It is a 3 layer foam bed, egg crate and flat. None of the layers are memory foam. I expected something like our tempurpedic mattress and pillows.
This is a far cry. Dog seems happy though.

I just received my new memory foam dog bed for my Golden Retreiver Gus. Old Gus is now 9 years old and his hips are not what they used to be. Since he has been lounging on this bed, he just does not want to leave it!
The product is very well tailored and seems like it is made out of very high quality products.

I bought this for my 7 year old Choc Lab that was recently hit by a car. He has hip dysplasia and arthritis in his front shoulders. What a difference this bed has made for him. He is getting all the support he needs and I have never seen him so stretched out in all the years we have had him. He LOVES it! I was very pleased with the quality of the bed as well. Super soft cover that can go right in the wash if needed. When I pulled it out of the box it was folded into thirds but popped right back into shape and had NO creases in it. I highly recommend this bed for your pet...what a great way to let them know you love them.

This product was quite expensive but my dog's worth it, she's a blonde. Actually, the product was even better then I had hoped. It is well made and comes in a heavy clear plastic protective cover which incidentally I left on for added protection. The bed is obviously a quality product and the large model which I splurged on gives her plenty of room to stretch out and find a comfortable spot on. Firm but pliable it provide good support for aging pets, conforming to the animals body and retaining warmth well. Maggie my 14 year old Labrador gives it five + stars and wouldn't sleep on anything else. If you love your pet and it's reaching an age where this sort of thing will make it more comfortable you owe it to them, don't hesitate. Only wish I had purchased one for her long ago.

I have a Golden Retriever and a Yellow Lab and they both absolutely LOVE this ped. It has maintained it's shape and I have kept it clean (even though the cover is washable) by covering it with a crib mattress pad and then laying their blanket on top of it. Just pull that off to wash when needed and don't have to worry about washing the cover to death!

Ok, I will admit, I was a slight hesitant, I mean, an orthopedic bed for $79 ??? when they can cost $$$ hundreds ? I was impressed at it being lightweight (to move from place to place) yet it being extremely supportive. I was seeking at least a 4" inch thick bed, this one is 3" (thought I'd take a chance and turned out amazed at how supportive this was) ... but, when I decided to play with my Russian Wolfhound (Borzoi) puppy "Maksim" (who will, when full grown, weigh 110lbs or more) on who gets to lay on the new bed ... well, I won.

Only to find that I had fallen asleep on the bed (and I weigh 165lbs !) and woke up an hour later with Maksim nudging me to get off of his new bed. Now, I can't get him off the bed. I was soooo pleased with this lightweight fully supportive orthopedic bed, that I just ordered ANOTHER one to have for my other SUV. Maksim and I travel a lot, he loves road trips and goes everywhere with me, including across country. He will now be spoiled (as he deserves) with the feeling of a five-star hotel bed to tour the country on.

My 120 lb lab LOVES this bed! He usually sleeps on the loveseat in our living room, but since we've put this down he's been on it more than the loveseat! I'm going to buy a 2nd one for our bedroom with hopes that he'll stay off the bed! (He takes up half of our king size bed!) Five stars all the way!

i bought this bed for my almost 10 year old 80 pound yellow lab. It has more than enough room for him to sprawl out and get comfortable. he loved it from the second we opened up the box and laid it on the floor. i would highly recommend this product. i do think all dog beds could be a bit cheaper but nothing we can do about that. so buy this product if you want a nice comfortable bed for your well loved dog.
