This is an excellent book which I strongly recommend to every one involved with PAH. It cover the subject completely :nomenclature, synthetic methods old and new, theorethical aspects, spectroscopy properties (UV, IR, MS, fluoresce, X-rays, photoelectron spectra, among others)The properties of more than 170 large polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons LPAH are reviewed with emphasis in synthesis, petroleum, coal, hidrocraking, laser desorption MS,pyrolisis and carcinogenetic aspects. The book contain a large number of valuable references in each of the 12 chapter it contains
