I FOUND THE LARGE PRINT FEATURE EXCELLENT. THE CONTENT WAS TERRIBLE. THE FIRST 3 WORDS I LOOKED UP WERE NOT IN THE DICTIONARY. NO USE TO ME WHATSOEVER.

The large print of this dictionary is great and the format is nice. However, this is not an exhaustive source, for there are a lot of words that cannot be found within its pages.

I purchased this dictionary for my 94 year old mother who is an avid reader but must use large print. There remain very few words she doesn't know the meaning of but, even so, she uses a paperback dictionary with small print frequently.

While she was excited when she received The Large Print American Heritage Dictionary,it now collects dust on a shelf.

This dictionary is useful for seeing impaired children and adolescents but too narrowly defined for adults.

This book is a large print dictionary and laid out very nicely but if you are an educated adult then dont buy this book! This is a small dictionary and most of the words in this book you probably would not need to look up. this was a total waste of money~ May be good to give to an elementary level child!

I have owned the American Heritage Dictionary for many years. So when my son needed a large print dictionary, I just went ahead and ordered the large print version. Unfortunately, it isn't the same. There are way fewer words in the large print version. This dictionary isn't worth it due to the low word count.

I am a college student who would mostly prefer large print to the standard normal font found in most books - including textbooks - and when I first looked inside this book, I found the print very easy for me to read. Thanks!

This is a great book, I really like the large print. I was still using my college day dictionarys; The books are the same however, my eyes are not! Some how I had envisioned a book with more pages because of the large print. None the less I am pleased and have used it several times. I think it will be a valuable asset to my reading. I had evoved to a point to where I looked very few words, thus loosing meaning. I recommend this book to all, so easy to use.
My experence with Amazon was great as well as the seller. Every thing was done in a professional manner and in a timely fashion.
