PROS: This Bible has a great font face and size despite its compact size so you don't have to fear losing your eyesight to squinting. Some of the great features includes Messianic prophecy highlights, references in-line within each chapter, a small concordance, colorful maps, life of Christ compared in the four gospels, favorite readings in the Bible and so much more.
CONS 1. The pages are very thin and may tear with too much force and 2. There are fewer scriptural references compared to other bibles

If you go with larger print, it will not be compact.
The best compact Bible I've seen. Old Testament quotes are in a different font type, Bold numbers for start of new paragraph(unique), references are perfect. I love the version. The only thing better is the KJV-450.

This is indeed a fine compact Bible with many useful extra features and a nice flexible bonded leather cover. But, not large print, as it even states on the box. In comparison the Ten Commandments written on the head of a pin would be considered regular sized print. As long as I have my reading glasses in hand, I'm fine and will enjoy reading this version.

I had needed a Bible I could carry back and forth to church -- one that was easy to teach and speak from. It serves that purpose perfectly.

It is not a study Bible, so if you're looking for a Bible to help you dig into more understanding, then this is not for you. The print is not very large, so someone with vision problems may want to look into a larger or giant print Bible.

But I love this Bible for what I am using it. It is my new favorite for teaching and speaking.

I wanted a Bible that would be small enough to carry around, but with print large enough for me to read. My mother and grandmother got the same Bible after seeing mine.

This is the best compact Bible I've ever seen. The print on most small Bibles is so small you can barely read it without a magnifying glass.

The print on this Bible is almost as large as a full-sized version.

Its the perfect Bible to keep in your car, or to travel with, or to give as a gift.

This Bible was said to be "Large Print" I feel this is misleading as there is hardly any noticeable difference from standard versions. I specially ordered this one for Large print and now find it necessary to purchase another one locally having confirmed the correct size font. Dave Lyddell

Just received this fantastic series of books compiled into one entertaining little handheld package for X-mas. The writing style & imagination used here easily competes with the likes of Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings, and manages to retain originality whilst obviously borrowing heavily from these preceding titles.

The character of "God" borrows heavily from Tolkien's "Gandalf", with "Jesus" acting as an obvious stand-in for "Legolas". Tolkiens recreated fellowship is completed by the 12 apostles which provide a generic backdrop for Jesus' antics & provide some comic relief to the proceedings. The author's attempt to replace the conflict which provides a hook in The Lord of the Rings leads to some awkward pace and poor transitions between the chapters.

Despite these shortcomings I found The Bible a great fantasy romp and look forward to reading the sequel: Bible 2 - The Return of the King.

I like this bible except the print could be a little larger. The compact bible without saying large print has the same font size letters as the one that does not say large print. Also, the leather could be thicker. I liked the consistency of the ink through the whole bible being dark, the way it is supposed to be. Other publishers have not been consistent, even after sending the bible back and getting the next one with the same issues!

Very happy with this bible. Comes in a nice presentation box - would be a good gift.
Text quite large. Words of Christ in red. Useful maps and concordance at the back.

Like all compact bibles the pages are quite thin so you need to be careful if you are highlighting text as some highlighters will mark the text on the other side of the page too.

I travel a lot so this is ideal.
