Large Print New Testament with Psalms: King James Version

I was disappointed that this Bible is not really large print. The print is no larger than regular.

I wanted just a New Testament, King James Version, of the Bible with Psalms since my regular OT/NT Study Bible is heavy and bulky. This was a good choice as it is lightweight, and easy to read with the larger print. If you want a NT that has room in the margins for notations, this may not be the one for you. The margins are narrow and there's no room provided at the back, either, for notes. Other than that, it's perfect to carry with you on a plane, train, or automobile for reading, as it doesn't weigh much and fits comfortably in the hand.

I ordered this book for my 88 y.o. mother-in-law in a nursing home. She has trouble holding heavy objects, seeing clearly, etc. This book is perfect for her!

Just waht I was looking for. Easy to read lettering and even though the cover is not the very best quality it is still quite acceptable.

Really, if you don't require larger than average text I'd recommend another edition. Something about it isn't as reader friendly as I'd hoped it would be. But it's all there, the New Testament plus Psalms. Not bad, just not great.

The print size is about 10 to 11 - normal Bibles being about 8 to 9.

The print is very dark, and the pages thick enough that there some but not major bleed through (depends on if eyes tend to blur when reading - on good days not a problem but when my eyes are blurring then I can't read the print too well because of the bit of bleed through - not as bad as today's thin page Bibles)

The KJV is very beautiful to read, a little hard sometimes with the older English style but I like to compare versions together anyway to get the feel and meaning better. I liked the flow of the KJV better than expected.

I really like that this includes the Psalms.

Very nice Bible that I hadn't been sure about buying since it was in the older style of English - yet found it much more enjoyable to read from this translation then I had expected.

Very good. I passed mine on to a neighbor who needed some spiritual uplifting and now I will have to replace one for myself. Easy to read and carry along where ever I go.

This is a cheap paperback and not bonded leather as called out in the Amazon's description (seller). I will no longer buy from Amazon again. Also package was all broken and had been opened and re sealed. Don't waste your time or money. This item is a give away!
