Good toy
This is a good, sturdy toy. Although they don't play with it for hours on end, they do go to it alot. They are 3 and 5 so I think they will grow into it some more. It's nice to have the music with it, which my 5 year old can do. Whenever there are other kids in the house it's one of the first things they go to. The sound is good and they can really bang on it without...

I was disappointed
I wish this had been as wonderful as it looks. Unfortunately, some of the wood bars were warped and the overall construction was very mediocre. A few of the bars had a nice tone, but most were flat and dull sounding. I've come to learn afterward how tough it is to tune wood bars. I can't imagine a mass-produced toy getting the careful attention that a well-tuned wood...

I can't imagine a mass-produced toy getting the careful attention that a well-tuned wood xylophone needs. Skip this and go for the LMI 25 Note Bell Set - vastly superior sound at a fraction the cost.
