5.0 out of 5 stars Backstreet Boys are truly Larger Than Life
This single is really a good single and is worth the money. I bought it from a friend and I love to listen to it. It has 3 songs. The first "Larger Than Life" same as on the millennium cd. The secongd Larger than life- instrumental, this is very good because you can really see if you know the song. The third is one of my fav. bsb songs ever,"if you knew...

3.0 out of 5 stars What do you mean, CD single IMPORT?!?
Obviously, something is wrong with these record labels like Jive. They may have strict policies against putting out singles like this in the US. Maybe they want ready buyers to stop saving money and get into a "spend-more-get-more" routine all the time? Yeah, I like the song, but why is it that every video that has an American music video release has a single release...

The secongd Larger than life- instrumental, this is very good because you can really see if you know the song. The third is one of my fav. bsb songs ever,"if you knew what I knew." It is a very meaningful song and it is mostly sung by A.J.(It is also written by him) If you like Shoe me the meaning of being lonely you will enjoy this new song. Backstreet forever- major fan

5.0 out of 5 stars Get this just for 'If you knew what I knew', March 9, 2000

This review is from: Larger Than Life (Audio CD)
For anyone that loves AJ McLean this is something that you should have.He wrote this song and it's one of my all time favorite BSB songs. If you knew what I knew is a beauitful song and the guys sound heavenly. Also this single has the radio edit version of Larger than Life the one where Nick sings his part with no music behind him. Every time I hear that it just gives me the chills. This single is definitly a must have for any BSB fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful harmonies, May 31, 2000
This review is from: Larger Than Life (Audio CD)
This is a very good c.d. single. If you watch MTV's TRL, then you have seen and heard the video version of this song. There is a difference in some of the lines that Nick sings that are different between the radio and the video version. The boys are on the cover in a scene where there is just moonlight behind them. they are all dressed in black adn the the Backstreet boys name on the front has concert scenes in it. It is a great single and a great collectible for BSB fans

5.0 out of 5 stars I Llove This Single, January 15, 2000

i bought it yesterday and have been listening to it non-stop. i hate the fact that they never release singles in america so the price is really high, but it's worth it. AJ wrote the third song, "if you knew what i knew" and it is one of my favorite songs of theirs. i have every CD they've made and i had to get this because the video remix is dope of larger than life and "if you knew what i knew" is awesome. the second remix is about 8 minutes long and has like the same 3 lines over and over again and is mostly music. good party music though but i think that they could have put something better on it like another previously unreleased song. but the price is definitley worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A DIFFERENT TYPE OF OF SOUND FROM THEM BUT JUST AS GOOD, October 12, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Larger Than Life (Audio CD)
THIS CD IS A REFRESHING SOUND OF A ROCK GUITAR INCORPERATED INTO THE GREAT SOUND OF BACKSTREET MUSIC. AT FIRST,I SAID....."THIS ISN'T THEM" BUT LATER ON WHEN I GAVE IT A FEW MORE TRIES.....I REALISED THAT THEY HADN'T DONE A TOTAL 360 DEGREE TURN....YOU CAN STILL HEAR THE "BACKSTREET SOUND" MOST WOULD BE ACCUSTOMED TO.GREAT MUSIC FROM A GREAT BAND.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying for the "B" side track, January 18, 2006
This review is from: Larger Than Life (Audio CD)
Larger than life is a top track, one of my many favourite BSB tracks, however, 'If You Knew What I Knew' is a superb song, and should have been released as an "A" side track.
This single is worth buying for this song alone.
Long Live The Backstreet Boys!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD...., December 16, 2000
This review is from: Larger Than Life (Audio CD)
I love Larger than Life....it may not be one of my best songs, but it is an excellent song...Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely is menaingful too...it's dedicated to the late Denniz Pop, one of the guys who helped them out in the start of their career....If you Knew What I Knew is also a great song...

Yeah, I like the song, but why is it that every video that has an American music video release has a single release as an import? What in the world is going on here?

That truly isn't larger than life, but I kind of like the way the import CD single cases are made. Still, it's a waste of money unless you are willing to up some extra bank for it.
