Reasons why I am grateful to own this dog bed (for over 4 months now):

1) My dog is obviously comfortable for he chooses this bed 100% of the time he is not following humans or cats around. His 10 year old, arthritic, 52 lb., australian cattle dog/labrador body suspends on this bed. He can stretch and sprawl out when he is centered and no body part hangs over/off. He could probably be content with a large but we have this XL and are pleased.

2) I am grateful it isn't a heavy bed, it is so easy to move from one room to another.

3) Zipper wraps around on 2 sides making thick foam insert easy to take in and out.

4) It is durable. The zipper and fabric are good quality and sewn well. The foam insert is superbly dense as described and it doesn't retain odor/stink. (OTHER expensive beds in PAST would just stinky STINK no matter how many times I laundered them). Plus, his slobbery licking doesn't soak through either and he certainly likes to lick this bed. This bed has yet to be tested for urine saturation. I'm just gonna be grateful about that for now, but I am sure it is as the seller says for they are very informative and accurate in their descriptions and detail of everything else.

5) The cats don't pee or claw on this one for some reason (as they have on all former ones by this time). Maybe they finally respect him for getting a really good bed!

6) The extra covers are awesome so he doesn't have to wonder where his comfy bed is for 2 days while the covers get laundered.

7) Superb value comparatively speaking. I have a feeling I will have this bed for my dog for several more years and it will stay true to fit/description.

Suggestions: It is just as thick and big as described. Mark some masking tape on the floor for the size of bed you think you want and measure your dog's height and length standing (they may suggest this already). This XL bed does take up some real estate (in my house at least) but he is worth it. As Ghandi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated"...and we are animals as well...and like comfy beds! God bless. Namaste. I have 2 labs that are 10 years old. They use these beds not only at night but during the day for their dog naps. If my dogs are using these beds then I know I purchased a good product. These beds came with 2 covers and liners each for a very reasonable price. Very good deal.

We were surprised how fast this bed arrived. As soon as we put it out, our aging golden retriever just jumped right on it and stayed there all night. She loves her new bed. We love the color and the non skid bottom. (In the past she would hit her bed and it would go out from under her). She seems very comfortable on this bed. We also like having the second set of covers. Overall, this seems like a very good quality dog bed. It was exactly as described.

I loved this bed and so did my dogs. The seller answered my e-mail question that I had about the bed promptly. I love having an extra waterproof lining and outside cover. I would buy again from this dealer!!

I purchased this bed for my aging 10 year old, 95 lb, Lab Retreiever who has recently had problems with her hips and "leaks." The box was delivered quickly and came with full care instructions. My dog has been using this bed for a few months and loves it...she started using it as soon as I took it out of the box. I looked at other orthepedic beds but few offered a solid piece of foam body or a waterproof liner such as this one. Its perfect! Best of all, the cover and liner both open on two sides so it makes getting the foam in/out for wash day soo much easier. The exterior cover is the typical tan microsuede found on many dog covers. Since I've bought so many other dog beds in the past I went with the microsuede since I knew what to expect. However, now that I'm familiar with the seller I'd like to order the denim cover since it looked cute and I think would hide more of the wet spots between washes. I have no regrets with this purchase and feel the bed has been worth the investment!

Having spent many hundreds of dollars on dog beds, I am impressed with this one. No one has clawed thru the cover, and the drool from our snoring boxer seems to do no harm. The foxhoundish dog is so taken with it, I have ordered one for him for Christmas. So far, good. Shipping was fine, and price is great.

This bed should last for the rest of my dogs' lives because they don't care for it one bit. I figured this bed would be a shoo-in since the dogs have another bed in our living room (which our dogs use any time we're in that room for any length of time) that's just a twin sized memory foam mattress topper I bought at WalMart and folded into thirds because it fit perfectly into the bed cover I had emroidered with the name of one of my dogs. On the contrary. This bed is much too firm, almost feels as if you're laying on a piece of plywood. The ONLY way I can get my dogs to lie on it for a bit is if I fold a flannel balnket and place in on top of the bed to cushion them from the hardness. And our dogs aren't wusses, they're rough-and-tumble 50+ pound pittie mixes. I don't think the bed is poorly made, in fact it seems to be very durable, but that memory foam is much, much too dense. Every time I look at that bed I think of all the other ways I could have spent that $110.
On the bright side my husband's 2 y.o. grandson likes to get on it when he comes over.

The dog bed arrived just as described. It came with an extra cover which is very much appreciated. It's extremely well made and well thought out. Our 80lb pitbull/boxer loves it. From the minute we took it out of the box, he's been laying on it every since.

We live in the midwest and it's December, so when we pulled the bed out of the box it was somewhat stiff but within minutes after flattening it out our pup was all over it. He loves his new bed and we are glad we made the investment. He has a hip injury and the bed has already been beneficial for his hip, he's not limping as much when we wakes up. I think time will tell if his hip will improve.

We highly recommend the bed. We've only had it a week or so but I can tell it is worth the investment! Thank you DogBed4Less for all the great communication you provided prior to us making this purchase.

First off, I could not believe how fast this bed arrived. I ordered Thursday night and it was at my house on Saturday! Amazing! My dog (95 lb, arthritic, 10-year old yellow lab) got on it and was immediately comfortable! I can't wait for him to sleep the night on it tonight. Great purchase, best bed I've bought thus far.

It's hard to give a thorough review of the bed because my dog is only 4 months old, but she seems to like it well enough. She lays on it periodically throughout the day, although I don't think I've ever seen her take a long nap on it--it's not in the area she spends most of her time in because of its size. Regardless, she plays on it, lays on it, and generally likes it. I'm sure when she gets bigger and outgrows the little cheap foam bed we bought her, she'll sleep on it more. I'm happy with the covers. My fingers are crossed that this bed lasts awhile. :-)

Update-After having the bed for a few months, I can't complain about the memory foam. It seems nice and comfy and isn't sagging at all. However, our pup is at the vet's being spayed and I thought I'd wash her cover so it's nice and clean when she gets home. We bought two covers, and the one currently on the bed has never been washed. I tried to get the cover off but couldn't find the actual zipper to pull open. The zipper actually broke off somewhere, and now I'll basically have to tear open the zipper to wash the cover (and then, of course, it won't be able to go back on). Now I don't let my dog chew on/dig at this bed, so I have no idea how the zipper broke off. There's no other visible damage to the cover. So I thought I'd just tear this cover open and use the spare (that has been washed once, then was folded and stored for the next time we need it). I unfolded it and noticed that the seam has come apart so there's a 2 inch opening in the cover (which, anyone with a puppy knows, is going to become an automatic toy and will soon be ripped completely open). The ONLY thing I can think of is that this happened in the washing machine the ONE time we washed this cover. I am so upset...I paid for two covers so that we wouldn't be left without one, and now when the dog really needs her bed to recover from her surgery, she's going to have to lay on a dirty cover. I am going to contact the company and see if they're willing to send us a replacement cover and if they really stand behind these beds. In the meantime, I guess I'll have to cover it with a blanket so she can lay on it when she comes home.

Contacted the company and they resolved the issue quickly and in a fair way. I have no idea how we got two bum covers, but I'm completely satisfied with the way the issue was handled. I would definitely purchase from this company again.
