My first book in the Lark collection was the 500 Handmade Dolls. It was a beautiful book. Amongst the reviews, one person criticized the size of the 8x8 book. Let's hope that person doesn't buy this book! When I opened the package and this little (5x5) book dropped out I have to admit I was taken aback. I can't understand why Lark would take these one-of-a-kind art pieces and showcase them in a setting that can't begin to do them justice. What a shame. I so admire the artists and their work and this is almost an insult to their skill. The photos just are not adequate to show the detail. I will be certain to check the size of these Lark books in the future, as I have been tempted to purchase others in the series. I guess for under $10, it is okay, but really, I would rather pay twice as much for a book that was twice the size! (I also think some of these photos are repeats from the aforementioned book but haven't verfied this yet.)
