Solid brass with engraved design representing four evangelical apostles and the names Matthew, Mark, Luke and John inscribed in Latin. Reproductions of orginals that were crafted in bronze in the 14th and 15th centuries.

I bought this and it is a nice bell. Has a loud ring. The description says it is a 3 1/2" dia. It is actually a 2 1/4" dia. and about 4" tall. The handle is short and thin at about 1 1/2". It is a nice bell, but I did expect it to be slightly larger.
