Editorial Reviews

Review

"...the pages are full of cool Alaska facts and funny mishaps shaped into a rhythmic prose kids will love. Larry Gets Lost in Alaska starts on an Alaska Marine Highway ferry and ends in Nome, and rest assured, Larry finds some new friends along the way. Authors John Skewes and Michael Mullin are spot-on with their Alaska trivia, and any family with kids under 10 who is planning on traveling around the state should buy this book before hitting the road, water, or air."

If you've ever taken a cruise to Alaska - you need this book. My Daughter (age 6) and son (age 1.5) love the story and the illustrations.

We got this book in preparation for our Alaskan Cruise. It was awesome that it highlighted some of our ports of call! Was even based on the travels of a cruise. Talk about the Iditarod race and floatplanes! Great book and cute story!

I was a little disappointed with the illustrations, and the lack of a lot of colors. The story was okay.

More About the Author

Michael Mullin lives in Pasadena, CA, although all his sports allegiances remain in his native New England. He wrote TaleSpins, a collection of three twisted fairytale retellings for YA readers. The first story, which features Creepy the unknown 8th dwarf, has become a cult hit with book bloggers and has also been published in graphic novel form ("8: The Untold Story"). Michael is also co-author of several titles in the award-winning Larry Gets Lost™ picture book series, and wrote the middle-grade humor/adventure titled Rocketboy: The Return of Dr. Megaton.

He lives with his wife and their teenage twins. The kids pretty much run his life, despite his best efforts to appear as if he is running theirs.
