From Library Journal
Hagman has two claims to fame: he is the son of Mary Martin; and he is the star of the long-running TV series Dallas. The author has spent an inordinate amount of time trying to prove that Hagman sometimes resembles his fictional counterpart, J.R. Ewing, but that basically he is a far more decent fellow who has been married to the same woman for over 30 years. Perhaps the most interesting section of the book concerns itself with the contrast between the real city of Dallas and the version shown on TV. Not a necessary purchase.
