Beanworld Book Three, May 6, 2007
This review is from: Larry Marder's Beanworld Book 3: A most peculiar comic book experience! (Paperback)
Beanworld is delightful and almost indescribable. Even Amazon failed to mention that this is the third collection. There is a primer page, a "What happened in Book One page," a "What happened in Book Two page," and a handy-dandy Glossary for those new to the Beanworld. I hestitate to mention how care Marder has spent to seem so casual or mention how much better this gets with careful rereading for fear of underplaying the giddy rush of first exposure.
If you wear socks, this will knock them off. Go buy or borrow this book. You'll thank me. Get the first two collections first, if you want, but it really isn't entirely necessary. Only the very finest milkshakes could be considered "money better spent."
