Larry Nemecek "works in Trekland"--which is not only shorthand for his Trek writing, talking, preserving and filming, but it's a mighty fine blog name for thoughts and guest vidchats at TREKLANDblog.com. Right now, Larry's out for "survivor" memories and/or fan donors to his documentary The Con of Wrath, the story of fandom's greatest "meltdown turned miracle," the 1982 Houston "Ultimate Fantasy" mega-Star Trek show.
Aside from recent turns as Dr. McCoy in the Geekie Award-winning "Star Trek Continues" online series, and speaking for the $20 million non-profit "Enterprise in Space" project, Larry's "Star Trek: Stellar Cartography" map/book set is a hit on Amazon, and he is remastering his archival Trek interviews since 1992 under the guise of his annual "TREKLAND: On Speaker" titles. He can be spied talking on CBS Blu-ray TNG and Enterprise documentaries, "The Green Girl," Rod Roddenberry's "Trek Nation" and the Biography Channel's "Captains of the Final Frontier"--and the classic "TNG Companion" on Kindle, his longtime Star Trek magazine and startrek.com stuff is all green. The occasional drawl betrays his roots as an Okie native in news, theatre, and fan cred with the likes of SoonerCon and creating ThunderCon--and he remains a volunteer docent at Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades, CA.
