I recommend this Book!,

THe Book SPIRITUAL WARFARE by Bob Larson is riveting reading, particularly the first and last third of the book, (the center portion dealing with Occult practices and as a reference). The case studies in this book are simply incredible to the average person. I recently sent a copy to my parents in England who were blown away by it. Either Bob Larson is the greatest charlatan fake spiritual sideshow freak in today's church or he's real and the demons are real. Which is it gonna be?

Riveting! Recommended!,

A glimpse by possibly the world's most educated 'exorcist' on demons and deliverance. Some case studies that although true read almost like something from a horror fiction novel. There are many christian ministers in the world today from all denominations who deal with demons the way Bob Larson does, but few of them in my opinion have the deep incite, revelation knowledge and sheer wealth of experience he has, he definetly GETS results! no question about it. His teaching on recognising the difference between MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) and demons although not exhaustive (no one really knows all the answers on this subject!) is truly fascinating and definetly plausible considering many christians have been 'falsely' diagnosed as being demon possessed and suffered deep spiritual harm through it. After reading several books and witnessing exorcism's abroad, this man is right on the money! Despite his high pitched voice and at times his very frank forthrightness in delivering the Word of God on his radio show and TV appearances he is a very humble family man who has totally sold out his life to fulfilling Christ's call to preach 'deliverance to the captives' I have been personally present at a Bob Larson workshop and it was the most amazing demonstration of the supernatural power of God over the forces of darkness that I have ever witnessed. After reading this book and indeed if you are ever privelidged enough to go to one of his workshops you will NEVER EVER doubt that there is a Devil, and that the Bible truly is God's infallible Word

Recycled Literary Goulash -- Virtually Inedible,
By A Customer
This review is from: Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare (Paperback)
Al Gore would be proud of Bob Larson: He recycles the same tired material over and over again. And LBSW is no different. If you have slogged through any of Larson's often-tiresome ghostwritten tomes on "spiritual warfare," you have already read the bulk of this one.Bible Answerman Hank Hanegraaff has said that Bob Larson "wouldn't know a demon if it bit him on the rear," and if you read his collage of undocumented tall tales, you'll understand why many legitimate Christian ministries refuse to have anything to do with him. Larson makes absurd claims (that demons have stolen his briefcase, tried to kill him, and even physically impersonated him), and these days, spends the bulk of his time casting out demons of "heartburn" (as reported by the Evangelical Press news service). He has also been caught exorcising the same "victims" over and over again (this time by NBC). If you really believe that demons cause halitosis, this book will be "riveting" reading -- assuming of course that you can read at all. For the rest of you, Larson's latest ghostwritten mess is recommended ... as a work of fiction

Incredible resource to understand and combat evil!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare (Paperback)
Bob Larson has consistantly stood out as a warrior in fighting the evil in our world that many would like to ignore. Of particular substance in this book, is the ability for parents today to educate and make themselves aware of the devices of the enemy and especially things aimed at young people today. There is plenty of evidence that bizarre multiple killings by our young and uncontrolled rage by "normal" kids is most unsettling, but to not know "why" and "how" to combat this type of terror would make things unbearable! Thanks to Bob Larson and many of his books and videos we have hope and are truly assured that God is in control and has ultimate power to conquer as demonstrated through Bob's own Christain testimony and ministry.

I do respect Bob Larson and the work that he does, and he had me until he started in on Alternative Health care.
Homeopathy is NOT satanic or occult and since when is treating your illness with natural herbs making one open to demonic posession? (Personally I'm one of those who believe that the pharmacuetical companies and the drugging of our children with meds and all the adults on psychotropic meds are far more evil.) I am a bodyworker and I start each session with a prayer, to God, for that person's healing....don't tell me that by assisting someone to heal and feel better I am perpetrating evil. God didn't give the gift of healing so people could sit and suffer, he gave it to be used to help others. God put us here with the herbs to heal our ills, homeopathy and herbal medicine is far more Biblical than pharmacueticals and surgeries. I do believe people can become possessed, I do believe Satanism is alive and well, but not everything is evil.....and there is a big difference between welcoming Satan and practicing occult rituals and alternative health care. It's like comparing knives and teddy bears..... Also all "science of the mind" schools of thought are not evil either....yes there are some bad people out there, but there are also some Evangelical Christian Churchs who are just as warped and disturbing. I was disappointed at the comments on Esalen, which is and organization for human growth and healing, not harm, hurt and darkness.

Strong medicine... but it needs to be told.,

This review is from: Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare (Paperback)
While I have only read a few books in this field, this one is by far the most comprehensive I've come across. The author pulls no punches when it comes to exposing the activties of satan and his fallen minions. The message of this book takes on new meaning when you consider what Paul said about, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places...." Truly this thing we call "life" is merely a battleground for all the souls of mankind. With this in mind, this book is like an intelligence manual on how the darkside works. I do recommend it and while reading it, always remember, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.". An excellent follow up to this book is, "Destined for the Throne" by Paul Billheimer (a book which clearly shows how Christians can have victory over the darkness through prayer and praise; and much more).

Love it or Hate it,

This review is from: Larson's Book of Spiritual Warfare (Kindle Edition)
I think people are going to love this book or hate it depending on their level of experience with the supernatural, occult, demons, and Scriptural truths. I have experience with demonic attacks, and know these things are very real. But, even with that I found some of the case studies hard to believe. Obviously, this man was called to a very specific ministry and experiences things even the most "demonized" affluent Christian will not ever experience.
Overall, I gave it a five star because I believe Mr. Larson does write from a Biblical perspective and has sincerely experienced the things he documents. Although, I personally like the works of Derek Prince because of his deep spiritual maturity and emphasis on "holiness" in combating demons and curses, Mr. Larson's book was a good read also. While I was writing a short mini-book on the occult side of the Martial Arts and placing those practices within a Biblical perspective, Martial Arts: A Biblical Perspective, I found Larson's references to be well researched and confirmed my own findings. This is a good book. Satan wishes you not to read it. Read it.

This book is a good source on spiritual warfare and the occult overall. Before reading this, I already knew most of what was written in here. There were some interesting details I did come across in the book that seemed to explain some things that I never thought of though. To most people this a real eye opener to the spirit realm and the demonic. There were other points in the book I disagreed with. For example, some people have been delivered from demons by Jesus when there was no exorcist around. Bob Larson states that this is rare but I don't think it is as rare as he thinks. I witnessed a friend's deliverance from a demon and her and I were the only ones in the room. He also seemed to think that the histeria in Salem during the witch trials was valid, it wasn't. I don't believe anyone was a witch or involved in witchcraft except Tituba and the girls who started the accusations. His point that witchcraft is evil and not something you want to get involved with is right on. I have to say that I really appreciate his work and what he does because a lot of churches and christians won't even touch it. Part of Jesus's ministry was casting out demons and people need to understand this. People need to know the truth to break free, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free", John 8:32. Freedom!

For those of you who need a spiritual warfare "bible", this is it! Anything and everything you needed to know to combat the unseen demonic world. Bob Larson is a true soldier in God's spiritual army, confronting and combating the forces that bind, possess, and attack us and our loves ones. A true study for those of you who are serious about being free of demonic attacks, and knowing how to descern the spiritual realm before it takes a hold of your life. This book explains and answers all of your questions. Don't take this lightly, and know what you are doing before taking this on and reading it. Thank God for a man who knows who he is in Christ, and is not afraid to put his finger into the deceiving face of the enemy! Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
