I'm only just returning to studying Spanish and have been discovering Latin music through internet radio. I ordered this CD on Amazon because of the great price. Now, even though I still learning what all the lyrics mean, the music and Nek's vocals are BLOWING ME AWAY. I play it over and over again, especially "tan solo tu," "todo de ti," and "cielo y tierra." The whole CD is a totally awesome musical experience, varying from the haunting melodic to the hard rocking, from sensual to passionate. I can't wait for the next release.

NEK'S NEW CD, COSAS QUE DEFENDERE IS AWESOME! I HAVE NEVER HEARD A SPANISH CD THIS GOOD. ALL SONGS FROM THE FIRST TO THE LAST ARE REAL GREAT. TRACKS 1,2,4,6,& 10 ARE THE BEST IN MY VIEW, BUT LIKE I WROTE, ALL SONGS ARE AWESOME. IF YOUR ARE THINKING OF PURCHASEING THIS CD, DONT THINK TWICE ABOUT IT, THIS CD I MORE THAN WELL WEARTH YOUR MONEY! YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY REGRETS ON BUYING THIS CD AFTER YOU HAVE LISTINED TO THE ENTIRE ALBUM. CANT WAIT UNTILL NEK RELEASES A NEW CD! YEAH!

I've listened to both the Italian and Spanish versions and both are excellent! But because Italian tends to end every word in a vowel, words have a smoother ending, which isn't bad at all. In Spanish, however, there is a good mix of words ending in vowels and consonants. So at least to me, it makes the Spanish version sound more Rock-like because of the harder consonant endings compared to endings that nearly always end in vowels that trail off (sounding less rocky i guess?), as in Italian. Nonetheless, BOTH are way awesome!!

The album is excellent... my favorite track is Tan Solo Tu with Laura Pausini. Plus, I think all the songs are good, there isn't a track that I'd skip over. Nek is awesome.
