Blue Man Group Promo CD (2005), October 1, 2008
This review is from: Las Vegas 4 Song Sampler (Audio CD)
I live in the South Suburbs of Chicago, IL. About a 45 minute drive from me lies the Briar Street Theatre, where the Blue Man Group preform. Today is September 4th, yesturday, the third, I went to go see them in Chicago. Blue Man Group are really cool,Im a big fan of theirs, own like all of their really rare promos.
So one day, I was able to buy this promo known as "Las Vegas 4 Song Sampler". Two songs from this album are available on their other albums Audio & The Complex, but then two songs exclusive to this that I have not seen anywhere else. Let me say the track listing:
1. Drum Finale Throwdown (Exclusive to This Album!)
2. Let it Ride (Exclusive to This Album!)
3. The Complex (From the Album of the Same Name)
4. Klein Mandelbrot (From the Album "Audio")
My favorite two songs are probably the exclusive songs which are the first two. Track one is almost 6 minutes long, and its a very long reel of massive percussion, its a very wild song. Track 2 is like a pop song with a guest vocalist Everett Bradley, which is a pretty cool song. Of course the other two are pretty good. I'm pretty sure this disc was made as a promo for Blue Man Group moving from the Luxor to the Venetian in Las Vegas. If your training to be a drummer, I'd buy one of the two available copies of this on here, to play along with it, especially track number one where you'll get a workout!
I give this rare album a full 5/5!
