I was given this cookbook as a gift, and I love it. I've made 5 of the lasagnas so far: 4 were fantastic and relatively easy to make. I will definitely make those 4 again. And there are at least 6 other recipes that I really want to try.
Overall: lots of recipes that look interesting, high ratio of "successful" recipes in practice . . . that's what makes a great cookbook!

I got this book for my daughter for Christmas, as she's begun to live on her own and is beginning to show an interest in cooking. My wife saw the book and liked it so much she kept it for herself until she could try some of the recipes, before letting my daughter take it home.

i purchased the divided lasagna pan, which is great, and got this book so i could get some ideas of recipes that i could prepare in my new dish. the divided pan allows more than one type of lasagna so the cook book has been very useful.

Lots of basic recipes as well as a few desserts. Most of all, it gives you recipes/ideas for different sauces so you can put togather the rest of the ingreedients that suit you. For a beginning cook, it would be perfect.
