Sleek, nifty design,

well as far as laser pointers go... this one is great. The slim design feels great, i have big hands (XL gloves if ya know what i mean) and its a lot easier to manuveur this little puppy around than the last pen style pointer i had. The button is large enough for using your thumb, no more squeezing on some small button with the pinky finger. This is a man's laser pointer, well not because its better or worse then others, just because of dimensions. I found the power to be strong compared to others also (tim and i sat at the office comparing ours this monday "hey, mine is much brighter than yours")

The laserlyte laser pointer was a great addition to my presentation. It made it easier to explain to customers how something works by actually showing them. (Also drivs cats up the wall)It really works!

The most incredible aspect of this pointer is its size. Fold aplaying card in half and you'll understand. It is so small andlightweight, I'm now afraid of misplacing it!I took it outside totest the range - a nice, solid dot at well over 400 feet. I did notice the intensity faded a bit after about twenty minutes of use, but it recovered nicely after a rest. Not a bad tradeoff for such an unobtrusive device. Who writes reviews about low priced items? Someone who is rarely this impressed with gadgets.

LaserLyte SleekPoint: Attractive But Disappointing,
By Chris Newton (Alexandria, VA USA) - See all my reviews

The LaserLyte SleekPoint Laser Pointer by LaserLyte looks and feels great. It's huge button is also a plus. However, sometimes the laser would not respond very well, and after sitting unused in a box for about one year, the laser pointer no longer works, even with new batteries. These problems seem to agree with several comments made in other reviews. Look, feel, and price are important, but not if the laser doesn't work. I would not recommend this product. Stick to the pen-shaped pointers.

This laser pointer is incredibly light and small. It was even smaller than I imagined after seeing the picture. I tested this a bit and the range is really good. The button to activate the laser isn't the easiest to use, though. And there isn't a holster (although it will still fit in your pocket). But overall, this is a great product.

Good, but a little touchy,
By Kevin Neil Cantrell (San Antonio, TX USA) - See all my reviews

I ordered the laser pointer and when it came in this HUGE box, it was laughable that the actual item is so small, it's about as long as a business card and aprx 1/2 an inch wide. I took it out of the packaging it came it.. it weighs nothing at all... practically, it feels weightless in your shirt pocket... it manuevers well and projects a nice dot a long distance away ( way across the highway!) the only thing that I don't like about this pointer is you have to hold the button just right or the dot fades or sometimes it will even go out. I don't know if it is just my pointer specifically, but it's rather annoying when your pointer dims or goes out in the middle of a presentation.
