This fan was super-easy to assemble. The only tools required were opposable thumbs. I love the breeze feature, which makes the fan cycle through all the speeds. The remote also makes this fan great for use in the bedroom. I'm very pleased with this fan and I would recommend.

It has become apparent that the company that makes this item, Lasko, is showing an advertisement for the older model in the description of the item. I just got one of these fans and it does NOT have Natural Breeze Mode. This was one of the main reasons I bought this fan. When I called Lasko they told me they have not had Natural Breeze Mode for some time now. They did not offer to replace it because they said NONE of their fans have Natural Breeze Mode. Besides not having that feature the timer is a bit different. The max you can set the time for is 4 hours. I told Lasko about this a couple weeks ago and they still have not changed the advert. I recommend not buying this item if you wanted it for the timer or for Natural Breeze Mode. If neither of those 2 things bother you then this is probably a good fan for you. I have actually come to like it and have nearly forgotten about the aforementioned features missing.

I bought this fan for my Wife because She cannot stand the heat. I did not want to spend a lot of money but I also did not want a cheap version either. This fan functions very well, the remote feature is a plus and the amount of air it puts out is extremly satisfactory. It is also not too loud that we cannot leave it on while we sleep.

I found this fan to be incredibly noisy. Even on the lowest speed, it is very powerful. If you are looking for a very strong and powerful fan, this fits the bill. If you are looking for a gentle, quiet fan that you can use while you sleep, stay away from this model.

Lasko 18 - Inch Remote Pedestal Fan:

It's getting hot outside as Summer approaches, your A/C is running, but you need to get the air in your home circulating to make the temperature even out, Lasko makes the 18 - inch pedestal fan that works. I've had this fan for 2 years and I can say, "This fan works very well."

I not only have this fan working in Summer, but Winter as well. Now, you ask, why Winter, again it's all about air circulation and temperature equalization. I get better utilization of the furnace/air conditioner when this fan circulates the air. This fan has three different speeds, the pedestal can be adjusted to different heights, the fan oscillates back and forth, or can be put in a stationary position, it has a timer so if set will shut itself off, and the fan housing can be adjusted to blow upward at different angles to circulated the warmer air that rises to the ceiling.

Two years of use and this fan works like it just arrived yesterday, of course with cleaning. The front panel covering the fan blades snaps into place and comes off easy for cleaning, the fan blades come off and so does the rear grill so you can wash off the fine dust that accumulates. All you have to do is use warm water with Dawn dish soap in the sink and agitate both grills and the dust just washes off and so does the fan blade assembly. I touched up the groves with a vegetable brush to get the dust washed out and rinsed well. After washing, I dried every thing off with a towel and re-assembled the fan and it looked as good as new. This is one of the easiest fans to clean. The base is wide and heavy enough that the fan when on high speed is still stable. The remote feature is handy when the fan is in use in the bedroom and you just don't want to get up to shut the fan off or adjust the speed. There is a breeze feature that come with this fan.

I love this fan so much I ordered a second fan to use in a different part of the house. This is a very well built, durable, dependable, and easy to assemble fan. Most importantly it is easy to maintain (clean). It's worth every penny and the price, at the time this review was written, was $12.00 below a large home improvement store's price. This fan is worth 5 stars.

Others have said it, but I will repeat. This is a really cool fan. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but the remot control is a godsend. It also puts out a LOT of wind. It will really keep you cool, but it is a little noisy.

This fan does the job nicely in terms of circulating air. However, it is way too noisy for a bedroom.

This fan does a great job with putting out a lot of air. However, I find the down side to be that it is rather loud. The fan is good, but just noisy. Am pleased with purchase. We use it as a breeze while we sleep, and it does a fabulous job. plus i can sleep thorough anything.

I have always been very pleased with any Lasko fan I have purchased. I recently purchased a tower fan, and actually paid more than I normally do for them, because I thought it would be space saving along with the usual great airflow, but it was AWFUL, I could get more air from a paper fan. So I ordered this one to replace it and I LOVE IT. It is quiet, but it puts out a LOT of air. It is well made, works beautifully and it was almost half the price of the fan that did not work. And I love that it has a remote. I bought a second one for our bedroom and my husband loves the remote as well. We can start out with one speed and change it if needed during the night, from the comfort of our bed and without losing our place to our furry kids, lol. This was a GREAT buy and it took me about five minutes to assemble it. I would HIGHLY suggest this fan. It was well worth the price and it looks very nice.

THIS FAN IS QUIET AND IT REALLY MOVES THE AIR. I HAVE SEVERAL OF THESE FANS , SO I CAN COVER MY WHOLE HOUSE.
