I have found that these fans are the best for residential use. I have two sizes: 12" and 16". They work great! I have 2 in my kitchen; 2 in the master bedroom; 1 in the smaller bedrooms and one in the living room. I am purchasing another one today to add to the living room area. They are easy to clean. We have tried ALL the other plastic fans and they are JUNK (vibrate hard) ...

I bought this for my daughter. She has 2 small children and was afraid to leave a fan where they could reach it. This is perfect and works great. I'm going to purchase another one for my own home.

We have just installed this fan (just hung it and plugged it in actually). Installation was a snap with with the included hanger. The pull cord changes speeds as well as on and off. It oscillates nicely, quiet, and makes our very warm screen porch comfortable. If you can't use a ceiling fan, this is a great alternative. Time will tell how long it works, but seems well built, but not v ery heavy so it can be installed easily on a wall

First of all this was one of the best fans I have ever bought. There is a story to this post. The fan started to give off a burning smell after running it for a few hours about three months after we purchased it. Amazon was no help and neither was the re-seller. LASKO however, stood by their product. We contacted them and explained the situation. We purchased this fan for our infants room and once we installed it we did not use it at all until he was born a few months later. It was approximately 9 months later that we sent LASKO the fan back which they arranged and paid for pick up and sent us a new fan back within a few weeks. I will go to LASKO first next time I need a fan. The new fan runs great and I am sure it was just a fluke that the old fan acted up. The fan is a great price and a great answer to the problem of not having a ceiling fan installed in an apartment. I am sure there are multiple situations where this fan would save the day! THANK YOU LASKO for all your help and for standing behind your product. Not many companies do that these days which is sad. Amazon and their re-seller however, were no help at all.

Needed to get a fan that did not take up space on my floor. This did the trick and after several months is still working great.

Works Great! assembly quite easy. wall mount keeps it out of the way some people might think the pull string not the greatest but if it is mounted high enough it makes it easy to control and guess what no remote to loose or batteries to go dead overall nice product.

I purchased this fan about 2 1/2 months ago and it just stopped working, no smoke smell, no spark from it, no nothing...? What a piece of crap for the money!!! I would nt buy this fan unless your buying it for a paper weight, what a waste of money !!! Waiting on a reply from the vender to see what they have in store for me !! I hope its not another "your up ____ creek without a paddle" like ive heard about!!!!

Unit used in a small excercise area at a resort. Noise not an issue and it moves alot of air. Not sure how long the "pull chain" speed switch will last.

Fan works well and is priced right. Simple design which usually means less chance of something breaking down. It's fairly quiet on the low setting, but at med & high it gets loud (though it does move alot of air). Some of the reviews praised how quiet they thought it was. I was expecting something whisper quiet which this is not. But it's not annoyingly loud either. Definitely worth the price IMHO.
