The best map you'll find on the park.
Much better than the map you get free at the park entrance. If you hike like I do waterproof is a must and this is waterproof. It also has topo lines so you get an idea of how strenuous the hike you are about to will be. Although not especially large this map gives you much more detail than the free handout map. fairly useless
No trail mileage markings. The map of Lassen itself is about the size of the free one thet give you at the park. The only thing this map is modestly helpful for is navigating the forest service roads.

It also gives the reader descriptions of the most popular trails. The map also shows some of the features of the surrounding Lassen National Forrest as well as it's Wilderness Areas. However if you are interested in getting real crazy and exploring the National Forest as well I recommend buying the Lassen National Forest Map at [...] in addition to this map.

All in all, this is exactly what you would expect from a hiking trail map. The map scale is good. It shows topography and UTM Grid. All major hiking trails and roads are clearly marked. However, the distances along trails are NOT marked. The description is WRONG.
