This was taken from a five-part LASSIE TV story, the only Timmy episodes made in color, so occasionally the story is choppy, but in general this is an interesting adventure story about Timmy and Lassie surviving in the Canadian wilderness after being swept away in a runaway carnival balloon. I would give it a better rating but the copy they used to transfer this to DVD is HIDEOUS. Lots of blips, white spots, color washouts, and one part where you can actually see the film stall and sputter and then restart again. Evidently this was just a quicky transfer to DVD and nothing else. Pity, because it's an enjoyable story. Still recommended for Lassie fans.

Note: If you can play Region 2 DVDs, get the Region 2 version. It's not perfect and the titles on it are rather odd, but the color is bright throughout and the film does not "stall" upon the scene at Loon Lake!

Get to see a great performance by Jon Provost (Timmy) and Lassie, too. Lots of action, thrills, suspense. Very high tech special effects for the time, but no CGI! Extremely enjoyable for any Lassie fan! Awesome gift! ENJOY!

This movie was wonderful. Brian got it to me long before the due date. I'm totally satisfied with my order. I loved the movie since I watched Lassie when my father bought our first TV. I have to give Brian an excellent rating. Good going Brian. I hope you see this and know how much I appreciate you getting this order for Lassie to me.
