Wow. These are marvelous and tender poems full of surprising juxtapositions of words and phrases that stretch our thinking far beyond the usual. I found the poet's rhythm of expression so compelling, I read the volume in one sitting the first time, and then went back to graze more slowly. Greenstreet's short films that come with the book are beautifully crafted visual renderings of her poems (with pitch-perfect musical accompaniments) that provide the viewer/reader with inspiring insight into what these poems mean to the poet, and how she recites them. Enthralled, I hastened to order more copies to share with friends.
