In the Texas town of Brazos Bend where everyone not only knows your name but also your business. There is intrigue, Mafia type business and as usual a hero and a heroine. What I was somewhat bored with were the pages and pages of explicit sexual acts. A little of that is great, a lot of it if that's your thing or you need the education, for me it went on a little too long. But all in all it is a good read and part of the series.

I loved this book as well as the first book based in Cedar Dell "My Big Old Texas Heartache". Well written, characters you'll love. Hooks you in from the beginning! Highly recommended!

I liked this book as well as the first book..."My Big Old Texas Heartache", but I couldn't help but notice quite a few simularities in the two books. It felt like the authors just changed the names and the circumstances surrounding the situations, but otherwise it was still the same kind of result. I was also a little disappointed in the ending for this story. I was really hoping for more closure for all the characters, but I especially wanted to know more about what happened with Nick & Tess down the road.

I really enjoyed this book. I could not put it down until it was finished. I then looked up to see if she had written any other books. There was one book, My big old Texas Heartache. I ordered it and I enjoyed that book as well.

I really enjoyed this book, it read very quickly because it was well written. I was surprised at some of the twists of the story.

this was the 1st book I've ever read from this author and I loved it. I've since scooped up her other books and have enjoyed them too.
