I think this must be a reprint? Since I like Civil War of the Americas stories, I bought this one thinking it was new. Believe I read this long long time ago. So you might want to check your keeper shelves before buying.

Jason Tarkenton is a Confederate, caught in the hell of battle. The air is so thick with gunfire that he cannot find his unit. It gets thicker and thicker, until he makes a wrong turn, a la Twilight Zone and steps into modern day and right into the middle of a Civil War reenactment.

Vickie Knox was no Scarlett O'Hara, but a Yankee lady, and her dress reflects that. So when the handsome, sexy Confederate comes riding out of the mist, she thinks he is just another reinactor. Only this Johnny Reb is playing for real. He takes her captive making her think this man has taken his role a bit too much to heart, until he gradually makes her understand he is from the past.

Excellent Time-Travel skillfully done.

this is the third copy of this book that I have, the first was loaned to a friend in Arkansas, never returned, the second was loaned to someone in Mississippi, she still has it, I looked for it at Amazon, found it, this one I will not loan. It is a great book, I enjoyed it the first time, then I became a Civil War reenactor, and enjoyed it even more, I have been a reenactor for15 years, like the book even more.

Heather Graham has quickly become my favorite author. She surprises me with every book she has written because I never see the twist coming. Yet, it has a wonderfully scripted love story!!

Once I started reading this, I was hooked! Loved it from beginning to end! I have it on Kindle where I will have it to reread for years to come! Wonderful book and one of my favorites!!!

This story was totally unbelievable and I don't mean the time travel. I found it pretty far-fetched for someone to have sex with their kidnapper the first night. The author should have invested her time to make the book longer in order to develop their relationship. This one won't even make it to the garage sell, it's going straight to the can!
